This is incredible! I've always said I didn't think murderbot would translate to screen, but you've changed my mind! I love how it's face is always obscured, I think that really makes it for me. Also all the scenes and acting were great and it reminded me how much I loved the books.

Miki at 1:43 !? The fluidity of the first scene must have been like death to make XD 1:06 -'s Mensa aniamtion must have also been super hard! The whole fight scene was epic! It was an interesting choice to have ART have a robotic voice, only because of Network Effect, I thought the characters thought ART's voice sounded human, but it'd be a cool way to show the difference between how bot-to-bot communication works. For example, It's mentioned that ART, for example, calls MB by it's feed-dress for it's name. I'd be interested to have MB's voice robotic when communicating over the feed! I was shocked at the short Gurtham! He looks like such a twig, lol. What a nerd.

DANG. This has all the elements of a kickass trailer except the big budget. All the voices are great but I'm especially blown away by ART - that synthesized feminine register is not what I was imagining before, but it sure is now.
this is fantastic and I wish I was cool enough to think of or even contribute to this. I always get a little upset when people headcanon Secunit as looking different or sounding different than I imagined it would sound. But that's a me problem that I have to work on. This is good.

Omg, this is really good!!! This is EXACTLY how I imagined Murderbot's look and voice. I mean exactly. Wow. 🥹🥹 You don't know what it means to me to have that. So many people make MB obviously "male" including he/him pronouns sometimes. Having MB be TRULY genderless like this... It's incredible. 😍 (As a bio female in patriarchal culture, I too had male as the default gender in my mind for years. It took a lot of conscious and annoying and painful and often ridiculed effort to change that. I actually perceived MB as biologically female like myself, and it was the first time I had ever done that AUTOMATICALLY with an individual/object/entity that was described without gender. I had to learn to stop saying she/her and instead say it, haha! So there's a very special place in my heart for genderless Murderbot.)
