While 2 seater multicopters may be first to achieve type certification, the real UAM market is for 4 and 5 seat longer range eVTOLs, like the Voloconnect and Beta Alia, given that the main usecase for UAM has always been airport city centre (12 to 18miles). Shorter range passenger eVTOLs have to compete with light rail, metrotrains and rapid bus transit in built up areas.
Volodrone and the Ehang 216L are covering the real multicopter market.

The market should be big enough for more then one company but I wonder if the vertiports can handle different types of drones.
I think so, the problem is that some companies will build their own vertiports as part of the package. Then, I don’t think they will let the competition to use them
Looks like chinese local Governments will Support the conpanies Building the Infrastructure. At least several News regarding Ehang let me think so. As Volkswagen was one of the First companies investing in China i guess volocopter and Lilium might have a Bonus.

US listed Chinese companies will face difficult political headwind in the next few years, so it's too risky for me.
True. The recent price drop is related to that.
@@eVTOLinnovation , right, but I think the political instability could worsen, pointing to additional drop in stock price. The risk/reward ratio just seems too hard to swallow, even with the current depressed price.
@@Birdylockso even if it gets delisted from nasdaq, you will keep your shares, the price will drop for sure. I’m not counting on Ehang selling products in the US anyways, an autonomous Chinese big drone full of cameras and sensors will never be allowed

Volocopter will have enough demand without doing that...especially with the piloted version Volocopter has a quicker way to certification in Europe and North America...
