Have you ever sat in a grief support group and heard parents tell their stories of losing their child due to a drug or alcohol overdose? I have, more than once and it's heartbreaking!
He would do well to listen to the negative comments. Ten drinks in one evening could easily result in death or misery. “Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head…” (Psalm 141:5). “ A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished” (Proverbs 22:3).
Thank you for sharing Josiah. It looks like it was a fun night, even without the alcohol. Personally I stopped consuming alcohol over 40 years ago - found I enjoyed it too much and wisely decided to abstain. It's more fun to watch others who are "drunk as a skunk". As for what else to video, may I suggest a tour of Central Park or The High Line or a dinner cruise on the East and Hudson Rivers from Pier 36. We would enjoy all three of them.
I liked all the glitz and glamour of the night but really enjoyed the museum and a little Titanic history. I’d love to see you narrate more architectural history of the city. Obviously you found out for yourself that while trying out new drinks can be fun,” walking home thoroughly drunk” isn’t. Smart choice to slow down. 😊
Hey Josiah! Love this video and all your other videos. If you’re interested there’s a movie theater in China Town called “Metrograph”. They show lots of 70’s - 90’s movies and I think you would like it a lot!
I’m glad you had fun it’s so important as a young person to have fun and enjoy your young adulthood. Your 20’s fly by. Don’t listen to the judgmental comments about drinking. I’m a good Christian and I enjoy going out drinking and dancing every so often. Doesn’t make me “bad” or any less of a “Christian”. You can do both. Enjoy your young adulthood. 😊
Your overconsumption of alcohol and broadcasting it for the world to see, will undoubtedly have an effect on further invitations. Just because they are there, and free, doesn't mean you must take them all. Gluttonous and gauche.
Would like to see you doing more "wholesome" things. Honestly I was surprised as to how many drinks you chose to have. I've followed your family's UA-cam channel for quite awhile now and hope you have better discernment in the future. Teach good choices! What would you want your younger siblings to do as they reach adulthood? There's so many other good quality choices of things to do that you could make! Lets see some of those! Make them God honoring! You can do it!

I'm not "hassling him" but simply trying to challenge him to do better! Is there something wrong with that? In the past I have been part of grief support groups and have seen families grieving the loss of their children due to overdose resulting in accidents that happened as a result. It's heartbreaking and you can't undo a mistake like that. I know the grief of loosing a child due to cancer. That alone is painful but when it's due to something that could have been prevented, it's even more difficult to process! I want to see Josiah have a good life!
Your young and full of life and dreams abd have amazing talent. Drink if you want to your sensible enough to not go crazy!!! I'd love to be 21 again!!!

The reality of alcohol is very destructive, not to mention traumatic, and I hate to see anyone get involved to this extent so quickly. Almost no one drinks responsibly. Both my grandfathers were drunks as were many of their children. I could talk a lot about trauma as well as the trauma of others. No one needs a drink to be around me. It may make you feel good about yourself to bully me and make snide remarks, but with no evidence, you’re just making noise. It troubles me that this young man was so drunk that he admitted going the wrong way. Do you understand how many people in a similar condition have run out in front of traffic and been killed? My neighbor ran a bar. One of the drunks leaving the bar laid down in the road and was run over by the bar owner’s daughter. Talk about trauma. Totally unnecessary. The bar owner’s granddaughter was later killed when she crashed into a tree after drinking. My oldest daughter is in the USMC. While she was in California, a guy she knew got drunk one night and ended up sleeping with a transvestite. He was so upset. And it’s probable that what he acquired from the experience can’t be washed off with bleach. Now he gets to pass that on to others. So sure, come after me because you want to defend alcohol abuse, which is what this is (10 drinks in a night), but who cares more about what happens to this young man-me or you? Why aren’t you warning him about the dangers of alcohol? He thinks it’s cute and funny now. Eventually he may not.
