I’m not sure my husband believes that the amount of craft supplies I have, and the clutter of my craft room isn’t just a me thing. I’m not alone in this!😁 The good thing is if any family members can “shop” in my craft room anytime for free! I’m in Texas too!!
Hi fellow Texan 🤠 hahaha, no, you are not alone in this ! My crafts were taking over the house, so my hubby let me have a craft room to clear up the house ! Then we had another baby and I got moved out to the garage. I now have a craft garage ☺️
Hi!! I live in Denver Colorado and just started making Decomesh wreaths at the end of last year and am so happy that you came up with an easier way to make them! I have bone cancer and have a lot of pain in my back and shoulders. I made 3 wreaths the way I was taught and between cutting all the strips and applying each one it took me forever to complete each one. At least a week per wreath so,needless to say I actually bought my Easter 🐇🐣 wreath cause , me and my back just couldn't handle it!! Can't wait to try your new no scissor method and get my passion for Decomesh wreaths back!! Thanks again!! 🙏 New subscriber!!
Hi Denver, Colorado our family loves Colorado ! I think I may have done a few tutorials in a sweater from Colorado ❤️ Welcome to the wreathing world - it’s very addicting to say the least. I’m so very sorry to hear of your bone cancer and the pain it’s causing you ❤️ I have tried to keep in mind some crafters have ailments that don’t allow them full range of mobility to do some of the techniques, so I try to show alternative ways to still make a pretty wreath. I will definitely keep you in mind when I make more tutorials so that I can make some that are easier to make for you. Don’t give up - we’ll figure out some cute stuff you can make! Thank you so much for subscribing to my channel ❤️ I appreciate the support.
@@mamabearcustomwreaths4767 Thank you so much for your kind response!! You're very sweet and thoughtful!! Looking forward to seeing what your compassionate heart dreams up!! God Bless You and your family 🕊️😇🙏❤️
Thank you ❤️ God bless you too ❤️ I am currently editing a St Patrick’s Day wreath tutorial I made with you in mind - it’s super cute and I think you will be able to do it. The poofing out of the loops takes a while however, so you may need to do that in more than one sitting. But other than that, it’s a method I think would work for you or anyone with arthritis. My mom has arthritis, so I try to make some tutorials that she and others like her could make. I will post that video tomorrow !
Thank you so much ! Here is amazon link for the cable mounts - they make putting a sign on a wreath soooooo much easier and quicker ! If you open up the description of video you will find all material used and amazon links to stuff from amazon ! Cable Mounts amzn.to/3P3CEbY
Hello Orlando ! I have family in Orlando, would go to visit all the time. Plus my boyfriend lived there in this giant castle 🏰 my parents called him a rodent but I didn’t care ❤️🤣 Thank you for subscribing and watching my videos.
Crafting for me is not just fun, it’s therapeutic. I get to escape life’s demands and use my creative muscles. It’s a little bit of alone time, mommy gets to unwind. I also do crafts with my kids all the time, crafts (a form of art) can be not only fun but very calming. And you have something beautiful you made in the end ! I have some new tutorials I will be posting today. Very pretty and classy home decor creations. Great to start over with, as both are relatively easy.
Awww, thank you for following me ! I am trying to make more content - I have three little ones so I have to go by their schedule 🤣 But I will be making more videos more consistently.
Thank you ! Yes - this is a dollar tree 14 inch wreath. You can also order them from Amazon. I have a link on amazon for these wreaths, I will add them to the description on this video and post it here as well : ua-cam.com/video/3UUro-XlP_g/v-deo.htmlsi=mBy-6d88l114WtNF
Okay! But I am wanting to make a cancer awareness ribbon that they have at the dollar tree. It is a wire wreath frame and I wonder if this method would work on that also! Sorry don’t mean to be a pain but I’m just getting into making wreaths!!
You’re not being a pain ! I had a ton of questions when I first started as well. Hmmm, I don’t know what a wire ribbon frame is? If it’s just a wire frame shaped like breast cancer awareness- then as long as it has 4 bars (giving it three spaces in between the four wires) it would work. I might make the loops a little shorter than I did on this tutorial though - to keep its shape more
Hi! Your wreath is beautiful, the method is awesome. So colorful and bright. I know you used 6 rolls of mesh..did you tie off on each cross bar on the bottom bar? Did it turn out to be One roll of mesh for each section? I really enjoy watching your videos, explaining everything. BTW..watching you from good ole Virginia!
Hi Virginia ! Thank you so much ❤️ I did use 6 rolls, one per section and I did tie ends of each roll on the crossbar. So I have found not every roll of dollar tree mesh is exactly 5 yards long - I’ve confirmed with other weathers as well - so sometimes the roll didn’t make it to the same spot as the roll before, so I just tied it where it ended closest to honestly. You can’t see it anyways because it’s on the back.
11.35 Maybe I just haven’t come to it yet, but how do you keep the mesh from coming out from the back? It seems like it would work its way out from the back.
Hi there ! Great question, the deco mesh stays in the front (or top the way I explained it) of the wreath because of the way it’s wrapped around the bars and the deco mesh around it also holds it in place. It won’t fall out 😊
@@mamabearcustomwreaths4767 I wanted to thank you for your video because it was very helpful when I made two wreaths for my daughter’s birthday. I made one for St. Patrick’s Day, & one for Easter. I will be making her more for each major holiday.

I love that! I'm definitely trying that method. I hate cutting the Dollar Tree mesh due to raveling, but this solves that.
Yes ! The mesh doesn’t fray and it makes the wreath so much fuller. I am making some more tutorials using similar methods 😉

Hey Texas ! 🤠 yes, this recipe can be used to make any themed wreath ! It’s very versatile ! Thank you ❤️ I love creating and meeting other creators !

Okay thank you! I just looked at it again and it only has 2 spaces so I guess I will have to find another way.
