I attended UH Hilo a few years ago. Good times. I'd recommend it to anyone. It's not all fun and games as a minority of individuals will be upfront with their hate but majority of people are nice just like anyone else. Their programs throughout university are overall good, especially computer science, math, biology, marine science and physics/astronomy. If you can go to UH Hilo, do it.
I am still applying to UHHILO, and honestly, so far I really recommend it to anyone. The staff is very kind and the students love the campus. The counselors are very sweet and loving, the counselor i spoke to was extremely nice and made me feel at ease considering i was nervous at first. I recommend this university to so many people as it is a very nice school and home to multiple students.
