Dom actually sounded excited by some of the T1 plays this series though - some of the plays were just SO good, he couldn't even be mad at it - its a good look that he still loves the game itself like that and hasn't been broken by the toxicity of some T1 fans completely...he can still be redeemed it looks like xD

Don't let Kanavi running down in game 4 distract you from the fact that 369 also solo lost the first game. And him being unable to play one of the best top laners in the meta really hurt the whole team during drafting in this series.
Also dont let it distract you from the fact that Knight is considered one of the "best" midlaner but cant even bother to learn how to play Azir. Like wow, a pro mid laner (one of the best apparently) can't even play Azir.

It's actually T1 vs the entirety of LPL. It's crazy how T1 just always out-mental and out-perform stronger LPL teams in high pressure situations. Even as a LPL fan, I would be very happy for Faker to end off with one more championship.

BUT SERIOUSLY: chapeau to him for not being salty and actually rising above toxicity in casting this series!! I liked that from him a lot - T1 played out of their minds for stretches of the game and showed why their players are some of the most gifted players alive individually - everyone had a pop-off play this series that made them look so much better than everyone else on the planet for a few seconds, well deserved win overall and good on Dom for acknowledging greatness when he witnessed it - makes me think deep down he still loves the game for the game and hasn't been brought down by the toxicity of some of the T1 fans

Don't let this take away from the fact Knight actually trolled harder multiple series this worlds more than anyone LPL fans are blaming. He single-handedly handicapped his team. 369 / Kanavi is not the issue, it's a SMAll amount of drafting, meta-calls, and play on the day of. Kanavi has been MVP of the LPL all year and absurdly robotic world-class. Nah this iteration of T1 losing MSI finals 2022, LCK summer finals 2022, worlds finals 2022 and MSI semi finals 2023 is more disappointing. Especially after how often they get hailed as the best “team” in the world.

funny thing is no one mentions SKT T1 almost did the golden road twice in 2015. winning LCK Spring, LCK summer and Worlds. just failing at Msi. Almost did it again in 2016 Winning Lck Spring. Winning Msi, Second in LCK Summer, and then Winning Worlds.
Well while on paper it look close but the road stop pretty early for them on those years. 2015 losing msi mid year mean no golden road and 2016 losing summer also stop it. I think G2 is the closest we get from 2019.

Might be the support bias in me as a support main, but watching Keria this tournament has been awesome. Its like he has the opposing bot laners on a puppet string, dictating how he wants the lane to progress.
Although for finals i always route for the underdog which will be weibo this year, anything can happen and after how last year went would be nice to see faker lift the trophy again but cant count weibo out completely.
