As an EU fan it was a deserved win for NRG. 3 NA players 1 Australian 1 Korean. After they beat C9 everybody said how they will get destroyed by every other teams at worlds. They made it to top 8. This NRG squad shows that you don't need to spend millions on European/Asian players to perform on a high level. GGs to NRG.

If contractz wasn't giga carrying, I'd wish Palafox got some more love. 5/3/25, every pop blossom landed, every wall perfectly placed. Man had one death overstepping and played basically flawless otherwise. That entire dragon pit fight was a beauty to watch.
Honestly, this might be the first series where I can genuinely say that every player on a team shined. FBI had good positioning in most fights, Ignar was clutch on TK and Rakan is his bread and butter, Big Dhoks was giga smurfing top, even with all of the pressure they threw his way, Palafox was crazy in both games, but yes, Contracts made all this much easier by making Yike look like a bronze player.

The improvement has been crazy. They just keep getting better, even though they are constantly underestimated. So happy for them.

G2 definitely underestimated NRG this series, and the interview by dhokla after saying they lost like. Every scrim probably shows why g2 thought they could just roll them over. But they HARD gapped g2 this series, and easily played one of the cleanest series internationally by an NA team. Even if g2 underperformed this was a well deserved, well earned win and im very proud of the boys. But i will keep my expectations at a negative. Because NRG is a team that ALWAYS ALWAYS played like gods when nobody believes they have a real shot, but soon as their fanbase comes alive thats when they start the clown fiestas. 🤡 i shall reverse psychology them for quarterfinals.

I've been a Contractz fan since his time on C9. He fell off, but never stopped grinding, made his way back to LCS and has become the GOAT!!
