I just started using the pool because of my achy hips. Was thrilled to see you do the movements I’ve been doing. Encouraged me to continue on and use your routine (so I don’t have to think 😉). Thank you for sharing this with us.
Very nice range of workouts One of my favorites and repeatable often Easy to follow directions Your communicate fab. Assisted to your work outs Just need a bit of info on the various music playing. Keep producing and will keep watching Thank you.
Thank you- and may I mention that when doing a side leg lift (hip abduction) the toes should point straight ahead (not to the side) so that the following muscles are strengthened: gluteus minimus, gluteus medius, and tensor fascia latae. All the best.
Thanks for watching & commenting. The movements depicted in the video are from AEA's Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program and intended solely for joint mobility, as opposed to muscle strengthening.
I think any gentle form of aquatic exercise would be good for this. Deep water would especially be good because you are in zero gravity which lengthens your spine and eases painful symptoms. Even consider just floating in deep water with your arms resting on a pool noodle and allowing your body to just hang to decompress your spine. We do have a free 50 minute arthritis deep water workout on this channel. ua-cam.com/video/K9lzNN2kaS4/v-deo.html
Thank you so much for your quick response. I will do anything to avoid surgery on my back. Fitmotivation is one of my go to aqua workout channels. I will try your suggestions. Thanks again.
I just started jacuzzi work out, I have arthritis I my right hip, started with acupuncture and now , water workouts, it’s all not just relaxing, but so much help, as everyone, I don’t want surgery, but my have to. Best luck to anyone going through the same situation ❤
@@fitmotivation-poolfit-videos thank you, going into the and jacuzzi, plus leaning from UA-cam, has made me feel so much better, little by little, has made a big difference, I hope everyone in this situation, try’s the water, even if it’s just walking around while in the water, will help. The low impact from water is different then dry land.
I am so happy that you tried this in your home. I was hoping people would do that. Keeping joints moving through their full range of motion is an essential ingredient to moving better & living better.
Thank you. The key is not to get too deep. In this video I have lowered down in the water to neck level by flexing through my hips and knees in a wide squat. Submerging the cervical spine & shoulders in the water by lowering down is more beneficial for those joints.
Very simple to follow and great joint movement. Got rewards right away.
Thanks so much. Your feedback is very much appreciated.
