Tom Hawkins was able to celebrate game 350 in fine style, slotting through 4 majors for the afternoon
In conditions that changed on a dime, the Cats prevailed by 6 goals against a plucky Hawthorn side that kept charging all day.
Geelong got control of the match with a monster opening term, kicking 7 goals.
Accurate kicking kept the Hawks at arms length, and the opposition never gave up, but the Cats were too classy in the end.
Geelong face a tough Western Bulldogs outfit at the Adelaide Oval next week off a 5 day break.

Hawks had a red hot go, just lack some mature talent and experience atm. Geelong gets laughed at for being old, but they are actually a very well balanced side who are again looking like top 4 contenders.
