    Great video and 8 have an a3. I have definitely learned alot from watching your videos. I installed a aftermarket sway bar a few months ago and I am ready to pull the trigger on the front sway bar. I reached out to a local mqb shop and they quoted 5 hours at 120 an hour. Does that sound about right to you or is that too expensive?

    • @savagepandaprojects
      @savagepandaprojects  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks for watching. That wouldn't surprise me on the hours. Dropping the sub frame does take some time and honestly that labor rate isn't bad at nowadays with inflation

    Did you up grade the end links as well?
    I've went with the H&R 25mm and 034 adjustable end links for the R a year ago. Back end feels very planted, balanced and totally mitigated the understeer.
    If I upgraded the front , would I induce understeer again?

    • @savagepandaprojects
      @savagepandaprojects  3 роки тому +1

      I did not do the endlinks. I think a matching set of sway bars is the way to go. front end much tighter

    I need your help! Im Looking at a 2015 a3 vs a4 both are quatro 2.0t. And i can’t really find any info on the differences... transmission, motor, tunes, etc. I am new to the audi world and am lost. Any advice would help. Literally found two for sale same miles, year, and price.

    • @savagepandaprojects

      I gotchu man! My advice... Get the A3 way way more aftermarket support. The Upgrade pathway for the A4 is very limited

    1 how many bolts hold the rack to the frame?
    2 do you leave that 10mm bolt in or out at top of steering column?

      thanks for watching. I had H&R springs, stock shock, both front and rear aftermarket swaybars. No issues with ride quality at all. Since you already upgraded the shocks, you should be fine. Wouldn't foresee any issues there. Sway bars really just help reduce body roll in corners.

    Ever thought of just getting rid of it? ARB's are essentially a component that promotes understeer. It's not actually a great set up at all, more of a compromise over fully independent suspension. Anyway that's my 2 cents

  • @ravenstylea2
    @ravenstylea2 7 місяців тому

    I feel like a couple thousand miles after the install, you are eventually going to have something loose in the front subframe. So many bolts were messed with. How is it going for you?

  • @krower11
    @krower11 Рік тому

    Never forget, when you harden the front but not balance it out with the back, you get more understearing. You should have done exactly the opposite on an Audi, make the back harder and the car loses its understearynes.

      try to pickup a catback if you can. Would not advise a muffler delete. Resonator deletes basically do nothing. Watch out for knock off cheap downpipes.
