Great videos all around me and my friends used to play this game a lot in 2007 - 2010. Great to see a strong community still.

I frequent other Source communities, which I expect is why the algorithm has blessed me with this video.
That being said, I'm primarily an Overwatch player, where I find the scrub mentality is especially applicable :)

trying to get into this game, do you have a config you use? when i play offline my movement can be jittery.
Localhost server does that, unfortunately, even with a standard server config, at least the same one I used to run a server recently. If you only bhop standing it will be smooth, but adding crouch makes it stuttery... So get your feet wet and try to find a low ping server that is welcoming to new players :)
