Honestly i would put it at S The reason why skip and loafer is so good is because its so grounded and realistic There are no colored hair anime girls with big tits, no loli girls, no weird anime bs Just a pure, slice of life show about a girl living her high school life, we see her struggle with stuff that all high school students struggle with, make friends and enter friend groups like in real life Its a show that doesnt need anything fancy because what is good is just that high school life. If you try, high school can be really fun, and watching that makes us feel all warm inside
I also especially love skip and loafer cause it also represents the lgbtq however they don't make it weird and they don't make it the characters personality trait it introduces the character and the character ends up to be trans as well the writing of this story is incredible with how its written
I mean this, in the most genuine way possible, but he needs to read the manga. It just has a way of going in directions that you couldn’t predict within the first chapter. It’s beautiful.
Facts tho, skip n loafer really potrayed highschool life and teenager in general how you want to fit in, in a group of friend,facing a problem,realizing that you have a crush on someone etc it kinda make me miss my highschool life last ep of the anime kinda make me emotional cause these past few year life as an young adult kinda hard and sometimes i want to go back to being a teenager again
its really great show it explores each kind of character without stretching it too far and i also like how they kept romance just as a sub plot and didnt made it the main theme
My wife is not much of an anime fan, but she really liked S&L. Garnt called it "authentic," my wife had a different term: intuitive. In other words, the social cues and story beats play out in a very understandable way. It's a surprisingly subtle show.
While Watching skip to loafer, i teared up without realizing and then pausing the video, the Nostalgia hits me and remembering all the good times back in the days. I feel so Homesick at that time. and because of this Anime it really brightens my week that time.
I rarely watched anime these days except the countdown for Attack on Titan but when i watched Skip & Loafer(half of ep8), i immediately hooked.The female lead is highly likeable even though she's the least pretty among her group(no offense).Thw story's simple yet i can't help it but gush. Can't wait for 2nd Season this fall.

I watched all of his S tier shows and I honestly think Skip and Loafer is the standout of the season.

Skip and loafer is for real a goated show
It's my best show of the season. Idk how they managed to make every character feels equally cared and explored.
I'd say at least season 1, the other 2 guys who are not Sousuke are not very developed yet, but in the manga they're getting a lot more screen time.

Anyone who enjoyed this show should also check out Hirayasumi. It's a manga and has the same vibes as skip and loafer, it's not set in hs btw.
