Hi Bharat, I've received a Blue Card decision letter for one job, but I haven't started working with them yet. However, there's another offer on the horizon that seems like a better fit for me. Here are my questions:
1.Updating Zusatzblatt with Ausländerbehörde: Can I update the Zusatzblatt (supplementary sheet) with the Ausländerbehörde to reflect my new job before receiving the physical Blue Card? Is that allowed?
2.Changing Jobs Before Starting: Is it generally okay to consider changing jobs before even starting the initial job I applied for? What's the usual procedure in this situation?
3.Risk of Rejection: Do I risk facing rejection from the Ausländerbehörde just because I'm contemplating changing jobs before starting the first one?

    Hi Bharat and Divya,
Thank you for the informative video! I had a question regarding the minimum blue card amount you had to show.
Usually, engineers fall under shortage occupations and only need to show a minimum salary of 43,056€ annually. So that would corespondent to a monthly salary of at least 3588€.
But in your case you had to show at least a minimum salary of 4600€ per month so approximately 55k a year which is usually the salary limit for non-STEM professions.
Did they ask you to show proof of 55k salary because you didn’t have a German degree yet and technically obtained your full-time job on the basis of your Indian degree? Usually if you don’t have a German degree then only would they impose such a high limit on the salary.
I’ve also finished my Masters from Germany now and I’m in the process of applying for my Blue Card. I have a lot of friends who are from the same profession as me (electrical engineering) and for them the salary limit of 43k has applied. If you could clarify this, it would be very helpful. Thanks!

Can you please let me know what if you don't have 52000€ package. Mine is 50000€

@Rahman, if you don't have 55200 then you can opt for regular work permit.
But instead of having 50000 if you wanna get blue card, then you have to tell this explicitely to your visa officer and then he / she will send your application to Bundesagentur für Arbeit. Then they will decide to give you a blue card or a regular work permit.

I haven't graduated from my master program yet but got a job offer and the ausländerbehörde told me to come and apply for a blue card, so it worked. I don't even need to go through the ZAB process, I just showed them my bachelor certificate and the anabin page containing the information about my university. My offer was 5700 euros gross salary per month.

Hello, I want to ask which anabin page did you submit to the ausländerbehörde. Did you download the databank somewhere or did you just print out the webpage where your uni was listed. Thank you very much in advance
