Primera, Mondeo and 406... such excellent mainstream sedans. And only the Nissan had a good 4-cyl. I really wish they sold it with a turbo SR20--it really deserved that sort of power.
I had a Primera p10 eGT in 1990-91, it was a memorable car to drive with an enjoyable high rev range from 4000 to 7500rpm, superb handling and beating most of its rivals on the road ( a bit of "racing" on highway ;))... Unfortunately it got wrecked while parked by a drunk mad man. Still one of the favorite car I own.
toppertruthio it is sad that you scrapped it, did no one want to buy it? Yes, my 1999 Nissan Primera is expensive to tax, but it is worth it. It does use a lot of fuel but again it is worth it. It cost me £1,595 10 years and 5 months ago so that is where it’s economy is.
Owned a Primera a while ago, my first car and it worked like a dream. Sadly nothing lasts forever and around 302 000 kilometers the engine simply started to give in and rust was eating on the loadbearing parts of the frame :( It never broke or had any problems, it just "wore out".
He rated it his favorite in old Top Gear too. This was an incredibly tough market, especially back in the 90s. Each car has their own kinds of buyers and no car was really a wrong choice, it all comes down to the driver's preference. I like a great handling car, and frankly, nothing came close to being a complete drive like the Prim. I'm.woth Tiff on this.
I drive a Primera p11. The Seats are the biggest Trash ever. The Foam and Metall broken after 100tkm!!! And the mpg is horrible! The Mondeo Mk2 1.8l was a so better Car!

They should have made a Primera 2.0t
The GM Ecotech is the best engine here, shame it was wrapped in such a poor car.
My dad bought a 2.0 gx
T523 UEW in red. Was an amazing car to drive. It was just as I passed my test. I was lucky enough to be insured on it.
I have T341 MEW. Peterborough car. Also red. 1600. Still in existence, requires an MOT though. Only 27k miles since new!
Really excited to get my drivers license in 3 years, because my first car will most likely be a 1995 1,6L primera

Thanks for the memories
G20 is one of the best, if they put a SR20VET it would have made everyone forget the Integra type r and would have shook more than a few M3's

WHP11 Primera Wagon from Malaysia. ✌️
Now they’re mostly banger raced these days
They are awesome cars but there is no need to be biased and sugarcoat it.
Out performed all but one = finish in second place. Say it like it is.

Tiff talks same now just as Primera drives same as back in the day
