I know this is an older video. I've been a tire guy for years and I've used this style bead breaker for many years but the ones I have always use have been in the 1000- 2000 dollar range they were originally designed to break down 2 and 3 piece split rim truck wheels and then Bridgestone came out with tractor tires with a wedge notche in the bead and sidewall that was meant to be a starting point for a duckbill hammer and someone found that this style bead breaker fit that notche and after that they became ag tire breakers the good ones have shoes in different lengths for different tires. The shoes and pusher shoe for car and light truck are real short they keep breaker from slipping like yours di in the beginning.I have an AME on my service truck but another emploee has a vevor and it worksjust fine till you get to forestory tires then the AME shines
Yes its better than a hammer, but for a different reason… peeling a tractor tire without removing the rim from the tractor… I wish i had one of these… instead I’m swinging my hammer at the backside and have been doing this for some years so i can break the back bead while peeling… but its still a pain in the ass 😂😂

I have a all mechanical one, does the job without all other things that can go bad. I screw the foot down with my 18v dewalt impact
Those are pretty studly! Might have to try one to compare with this guy and see which one can break a bead faster

I think that thing is designed for truck/tracter tires not auto tires.
I like the shit out of mine iv done a lot of tractor tires
I may create, a bead breaker, using Floor jack - NOT the Chineseum ones.....a REAL USA made one...
Came looking for info on a hydraulic bread maker…
Coming soon...
