Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways characterized by an obstruction of the air flow which maybe completely or partially reversed with or without specific therapy.
In most cases of asthma in children multiple triggers or precipitants are recognized and the patterns of the reactivity may change with age.
Asthma effects and estimated five hundred million individuals world wide. The prevalence of asthma is increasing especially in children. Annually, the world heath organization (WHO) has estimated that 15 million disabilities adjusted life years are lost and 250000 asthma deaths are reported world wide.
In this video I am trying to discuss the following issues in simple language for your better understanding about the cause, treatment, preventing measures and remedies for patients who are suffering through asthma.
