I got to see Larnelle at the moody bible institute in downtown Chicago. I was 16, pregnant, and living in a home for unwed mothers. This concert... his music made such an impact on my life. 33 years later his song "I miss my time with you" came into my mind and I needed to hear it. Then rabbit trail I get here. He is such a gem! Thank you for all you do! ❤

OMG!!! I have been listening to you since the mid 80's. Mr. Harris, your gospel songs helped me teavel through my healing journey after a head on collision car accident. I would sing with you during my 2 year recovery and singing with you would elevate my spirit to forget my pain and unsertity for the future. "Much too high a price', I've just seen Jesus", I miss my time with you " etc., just to nane a few. Thank you.🙏🙏❤️❤️

From my childhood until now I still enjoy listening to bro Larnell Harris songs, recently the Lord dropped the song with Sandi Patty " He's more wonderful "in my heart, and as I played it on UA-cam just listening to those words it was like the Lord was speaking so clearly to me from it. I was down and out one time in my life when I heard the song I Miss My Time With You that brought it home to me that my spiritual life was dry and I needed Jesus to send His Holy Spirit to search the chambers of my heart and it hit me then that God never left me but that He missed His time with me. Today it becomes the theme of my life and song.
I Can Begin Again was my go to song during a extremely difficult season on my journey. I thank GOD for this brother in the LORD's Ministry of Song.

Larnelle's songs are lifechanging and timeless. "you were in it after all" and "in a way that matters" are just two of the many word based songs that have carried me through many decades. I jut hope the millennials will take their cue from you and others of that generation so they can minister effectively in this time. Lyrics do matter.

Larnelle sang in the black church before he became popular. Have you heard the song, “Everybody praise the Lord.” He is well known among us and I have most of his music. My favorite song is, “You were in it after all.” You have a younger generation now that likes gospel singers in their age range. They are the ones that don’t know about him. They don’t know anything about Mahalia Jackson.
I met Larnelle one time at Moody in Chicago, Illinois. He is a very friendly and humble person. Besides my father, Larnelle inspired me to sing - almost to the point if emulating him. Lol..
