    Why oh why does no one show how to simply check the damn oil. I’ve read how to do it and know where it is but can’t find what it is actually supposed to look like.

      Stand the bike upright and look at the oil level window. Oil should be approximately half way up the window.

    Great video, thanks!! The motorcycle stand that you linked, is that the one that you actually used for this vid? Appreciate it in advance.

      Thank you! Yep, I have the same stands in the link but my front stand is red. I don't think they had a black one available when I bought it.

    is the round side of the crush washer towards the engine? ( or the flat one? )

    • @EndlessMoneyPits
      @EndlessMoneyPits  Рік тому +2

      I'm not sure one way is better than the other but I usually put the flat side against the engine for whatever reason. It's just a side effect from the cheap process of punching o-rings from a sheet of metal. O-rings that cost more and are sold individually are usually uniform.

    Hi I've just bought a 2009 for my wife. What oil filter did you install. Cheers

      The owner provided me with a Hiflo Filtro HF141. I included a link in the video description for a K&N filter because I couldn't find the same one on Amazon. Enjoy the new bike!

    Is it the same for a 350??

    I just tapped a slightly smaller af socket on a Scorpio with a butchered plug. It wouldn't have come loose with vice grips. Those large o rings can expand until they are too big. Buy a spare.
