*HEY GUYS, I NEED SOME HELP!* I changed my oil and oil filter yesterday on my 2011 kawasaki ninja 250 and when I went to tight the filter cover and oil filter mounting bolt, I broke the filter cover.. It's in pieces and I've been searching all over to get a replacement but where's a good place to order one? Or could I use another oil filter cover at maybe a local hardware or bike shop??
We have drop off locations. Many places will take it.. I live in the country on a well so I’m very aware of the damage caused by just dumping it… Unfortunately I don’t think many city people understand… if you pour in the ground, or flush it down a pipe, you will be drinking it in the future.
I watched this without sound so I may have missed something lol, but did you put new oil in before replacing the drain plug? Also what tool is used to take the air filter out?
Yes, I put a little bit in to flush the gunk out, then put plug in…. I did not do anything with the air filter but perhaps u meant the oil filter… it takes an Allen wrench…
Nicely done ✅ you’re meticulous about your work 😎 that’s a good thing !
Thanks for the comment and watching…. Have a good day…!
Tipping the bike side to side gets way more old oil out than holding it level and stationary like that.

In Ontario Canada, what do you do with the used oil? Do you return to where you purchased?
