This Ableton Live Device is Underrated

- Creating hypnotic techno tracks often involves crafting layers of sound that morph together without killing the mix. Ableton Live's Auto Pan effect can play a crucial role in achieving this quality by adding movement, depth, and space to your productions.
I wish you a pleasant week.

“Creating layers that morph between each other without killing the mix.”
Couldn’t describe it better, yet this part is so hard to nail down. I can sound design individual elements just fine, but it’s always a challenge fitting it together, especially the arrangement and mix phase is so hard for me. Well at least I’m progressing and it’s a joyful hobby.
Absolutely this are the parts that you never master but they give you joy in the endgame ;)
Quality. Yet again. New way to think about things I overlook.
That’s what I want to hear 🤍🫂
Thanks! Another great and inspiring set of ideas to play with. Herzlichen Dank!
Immer eine Freude zu helfen :)
Quality mate! very very nice tips!
Happy u like it
that demo track near the beginning goes hard
Thanks mate 🤍
Hi man , huge fan of your channel. Learned a ton out of it! Thanks for that , i recently updated my ableton but i can’t find any meld or roar inside any idea where to find it?
Happy to hear that!
Check the account on the website and download all packs you have next to Ableton 12
Less is more ever, thanks for your content 🏄🏻♂️❤️🔥
Less is more ;) the philosophy of this channel!
thanks for helping me with the algorithm.
Great man. I too luv the device. Hey, have you tried parallel config with it in series w say,..auto filter? ;) oh, the power of Racks. It's so easy to forget (I still do after all these yrs!) about parallel routing via racks. Also use LFO and/or Shaper on the AP's controls to get more intriguing/varied/evolving panning/tremolo power. Have fun. Always cool to see what yr working on 🌌
Thanks 🙏 I really have to do this again more.
Great vid
Thank you
Oh I really like the sound design of the second example, that swelling phaser-y sound, how was that made?
this was mainly just the phaser with a lot of feedback to make it like a OSC
Quality content as always, dude....... 2 questions:
1. Love the track; can I get it on bandcamp?
2. What version of LFO is that? ...Having a step function sounds sick. I need that!
Happy you like it :)
1. No I just did it for the tutorial but maybe now I consider it for a release ;)
2. The lfo is just the one you get with Ableton 12.
@@MordioMusic
1. I'd buy it.
2. Aaahhh..... Can't afford an upgrade yet. Still on 11.
Slink pan is a beast
Video incoming ;)
Would it be possible to sidechain your voice to the sound of the daw? Sometimes when both are playing, your are really difficult to understand. Thanks for sharing this exquisite knowledge :)
Yes I work with an external mixer so it’s not that easy in Ableton I can’t record my voice without killing my flow.
I’m working on it, in ever video atm I try new settings.
the pattern with operator at 5:29 sounds like Raster Noton (as Aleph tracks) , that's really pleasant :)
or like Komet
Big compliment on that simple sound haha
mjammmm
Thanks. Wondering though, wouldn't you lose all of this in mono?
the moments were you have 180° the sound in mono will be just off.
I hope you are well 😉 Now that's some serious information. Bro, if possible, show a little more videos like this)
Happy you see the value of the trick ;)
I’m great thanks 🙏 hope you too
Im good and yep .. be waiting for more videos ✌
Yo!
Ja 👍
