So nice and clean. Looks better than alot of our crappy stores. I've been watching other channels shopping in Thailand. All I can say is that the U.S's glory days (in general) appear to be in the rear view. Asia is where it's at.
13:05 I'm sure the security guard has to work about *a DAY* and *HALF* to earn about 270K (thousand VND) to buy that cashew box . That is an impossible price for such worker to afford, so what are we comparing? Again, 1 - 1.5 days of pays for a NORMAL worker in VN to buy that cashew box. Let's do this, compare to USA, compare stores that sell things that costs similar, cost that high in term of per GDP (you have to take into account per GDP, per person ....) THAT IS a fair and right comparison, and see USA's store better or VN's is better? No chance, not even close, for VN in any comparisons, we're all know that
so when you see the products, and in front there is a number, you just add the word thousand to it right? ie. 14 equals 14,000. 75 equals 75,000. Im going to Da Nang on 20 June 24, my first visit to Vietnam
KT , thanks for the video , when i was in Saigon ealier this year before heading home i visited the Annam Gourmet store, they had a good variety of international foods. this Mall seems really nice bro.
Local speaking here, I never bring a bag when I do grocery shopping. They often give you plastic bags for free. Never know a supermarket that charge you for it But bring your own bag does help the environment.
Definitely in the US they charge for bags. I've been charged for bags here in Vietnam. Best to bring your own bag though. Appreciate your comment. Where do you live in Vietnam?
@@thestoryofkt I live in Hanoi. I do go to HCM city sometimes for short business trip, but never had to buy plastic bag before :). Maybe they learn that from the US or because you’re a foreigner.
Possibly, I just bring a bag though. Vietnam should charge for bags, so people start to learn to recycle here. I wish that was a thing now a days here. We should get a coffee one day if you're open.

You're welcome 😁. Thanks for watching
Wheres all the people. Its almost empty considering its a grocery store.
It was during the day. Around lunch time so no one was shopping. It was strategic to go at that time.
So do African and West Indians, we love chicken feet. I can make good soup with those chicken feet. Can I find bread fruit deh?
Bánh mỳ và trái cây lúc nào cũng có
Bread fruit is quite popular in Vietnam, the name is sa-ke
And there is no oatmeals and bulgur, am I right?
There's plenty for ya 😉
Where are those markets located? Do you have an address?
They located in Tay ho Vietnam
I think i'd prefer Winmart
Curious, why did you choose Winmart?
OMG ❤❤❤ ! Good 👍
🙏🏾
Hi, what's the difference in the coffees 1-5 please?
👋🏾 the difference is the amount of caffeine in them. 1 being the strongest or highest caffeine.
thanks@@thestoryofkt
Any time brother
So where are the shoppers?
I guess at home or at work. It was during the day.
Most Vietnamese shop at local market fresh and a lot cheaper.
Supermarket are for foreigners and high income people.
