Thank you for watching, my dears ❤️! What would you buy in a Russian supermarket? To support my channel you may here: www.donationalerts.com/r/natashafromrussia
Well, I certainly would not buy the cakes, lol. I would bake my own for those prices. Plus they did not look fresh or tasty. The cheese seems way overpriced. Cheese is usually six to thirteen dollars a pound depending on type. Brie is too fatty so I don't really know our prices offhand. Parmesan is about thirteen or fourteen dollars a pound, feta five dollars a half pound, swiss about eight a pound; same for Cheddar. Swiss and Cheddar often go on sale. And our salaries are a lot higher but housing is extremely expensive in my area.

Yes, thank you for your comment. I think a good comparison is how long an unskilled worker has to work for a certain product in the respective countries. In Russia, it's roughly one hour's work for a bar of chocolate for an unskilled low-wage worker. In Germany, it takes 8 minutes to make one bar of chocolate. The same applies to other products such as strawberries, butter and others

If food prices rise sharply, how can there be room to sell Christmas stuff? There must be things in Russia that are cheaper than they are in Sweden. In Sweden, 1 kg of butter costs 9 dollars, and 1 liter of vodka costs 40 dollars. I fill my car with butter and drive to the Finnish-Russian border. I throw packets of butter over the border. On the other side of the border, a Russian stands and throws things that are expensive in my country. It cannot be counted as illegal Export and Import, when the butter package left my hand it was still in Finland.

Red meat isn't heart healthy. Healthier choices would be turkey and chicken. Pork, not bacon, is a good alternative to poultry. I'm a Yank and no longer eat red meat. And I love tri-tip and brisket. Or barbequed ribs. Now I'm drooling. I miss red meat! But I like living. I don't smoke either. With COPD in a smokers future, smoking is indeed a quicker way to the grave. So grab a bottle of vodka, grab some steaks off the grill, and light up your unfiltered cigarettes!! I've found alternative ways to enjoy life that doesn't include bad habits that will cut my life short. So now I'll probably meet my end in an auto accident. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I am writing to you from Russia. Most Russians look good because they know how to eat right. You can't limit yourself to some products! You need to eat everything you want, except of course those foods that you are allergic to! The main thing is to know the measure! I remember how long ago my wife, who was 9 months pregnant, said that she really wanted champagne! I was indignant and said that she couldn't and I wouldn't let her drink it, but her friend (psychologist), who was visiting us at the time, convinced me to pour her champagne. And what do you think...She took two small sips and..I stopped with a happy face! A psychologist friend explained to me that you can trick your stomach...but not the brain, my wife's body needed a set of chemicals, a set of which her brain was looking for in products that she had already consumed. The brain pointed to the champagne and got at least a little of what it wanted. Just, if you want something, then eat a small piece to deceive, but saturate the brain with what it asks for, and fill the stomach with some harmless side dish! And, I also noticed that people in the West do not walk much on the streets, they move only on scheduled business. We Russians really like to walk through the streets and parks without a special purpose! We just breathe fresh air, admire nature and architecture, and play sports...Our children receive good free education and medicine, they are well-mannered and clean and play a lot outside with other children and actively attend various interest groups, so they are very well socialized in society with other people and therefore very sociable! So be free, do not torment yourself with prohibitions that do not interfere with other people, enjoy life, appreciate every day, because we do not know how much we are given to exist! I wish you happiness, kindness and love!

Red meat is good for you actually. It’s the stuff add to the red meat. The healthiest thing you can eat at McDonalds is the meat lettuce tomato
Barila in brasil is about 5 to 7 dollars. The cheapest brand we have here is 1 dollar, and is much worse than this one you showed for 0,2 dollars
Barilla pasta is made in italy. It's like €3-4 a kilo in Europe sometimes cheaper. .. Its import in Brazil thats why its more expensive..
@Oomph6006 it's not import in Rússia?
