This was one of those moments. I will certainly always remember where I was. I turned on the radio just as Ms. Truss was giving her speech, not realizing in doing so that Queen Elizabeth had died. I was in my car about to go do my grocery shopping. It felt as if there was a great void left in the world.
It is one of those moments you will always remember where you were. I was on the toilet scrolling through my phone when I saw a news notification pop up.
And this was from the person who was against the royal family. Hardly an ‘inspiration’ to her.

I respected Queen Elizabeth, she stayed in England during WW2 and even visited bombed out areas in the blitz. She could easily have gone to the USA or another country until the war was over. She had integrity and gravitas and served our country well. Rest in peace Maam

Therefore, if we want the weather to cool, the sea-level to drop, and the storms to subside, we must cool the fire and calm the storms between us. Mutual concern, mutual responsibility, or at least the knowledge that we are dependent on each other, are necessary in order to restore balance in our world at all levels, from the ground we walk on to the hatred in our hearts.
