Great video. Would it be safe to say that the Epilog Zing 16 is exactly the same except for the cutting space? Or is there other features the Zing 24 has that the 16 does not?
The color does not determine whether to cut or etch. Black will do both, it just etches (rastors) deeper than grey. The way you distinguish between cut and etch is by the stroke setting. It will "cut" with stroke set at .0001
We use a windows on it, unfortunately the Mac software wasn’t great you have to connect the laser to the network instead of via USB. At the time we set things up the Mac software wasn’t very good. So we installed a program called virtual box, and then install windows on that. So it’s a Mac, but really it’s running windows.
Great video very helpful.

Can you give me info on your air pump? I’m looking for one for my zing.

it can have a higher wattage laser, well that's what the website says. but I'm more interested in where to buy one.
So black means cut and grey means etch? Thanks for your video.

I noticed it works with hard woods, but what about a soft wood?
So you have to run windows on your macbook pro in order to use it because it doesn't have a mac driver?
