Why would mobile data need to be enabled to send simple texts with no multimedia. I have 2 other Galaxy phones and neither require mobile data to be on for SMS or Voice typing but this A14 does, What's the difference?

I tried all the steps given in the video, but without success. These steps are excellent, but obviously, not in all cases.
I finally resolved the problem on my phone by opening up the text app, tapping on the Google acct. icon (next to the "magnifying glass search icon). this opened "Google Account. I then found & tapped on "Message Settings" and scrolled down to "Advanced" and tapped on it. I then found "Auto-Download MMS" and closed it for 30-seconds or so, then turned it back on.
I then closed the text app, powered the phone down, waited another 30-seconds, powered the phone up and tried to send a text with a picture and it worked perfectly !
I will add that this was on a new phone, which I had configured from my old Samsung phone, using the Samsung "Smart Switch", which is included in the A14 5G.
