I've been tracking this one for a while, yeah, and it finally got back in stock! YAY! Since the days of Moldvay and 40K I've been in more 1 on 1 games than actual full tables and I've played a lot of games solo using Tunnels and Trolls and the random dungeon generator at the back of the AD&D DMG. I've played Ironsworn and love it and I'm hearing many great things about Runecairn:Wardensaga.
Nice review, hope to win a copy. Ik think it's neet this adventure in a book uses the Spawn items from 'fallen comrades', Just like in Word of Warcraft style games. Aldo Nice to hear this book is nog het another solo experience adventure book, you can actually play IT double
That souls-like mechanic of reviving at a bonfire sounds really interesting and I'm amazed that I never heard of people implementing it on d&d. I actually want to try it now, but maybe I'll do it on a one shot or something like that. Thanks for sharing with us!
As a two player TTRPG, this sounds awesome! Thanks for the chance!
Sounds like a really neat game! I like the idea of a souls-like experience on the tabletop
You got me at:"Post Ragnarok". Im now invested thanks for the content
Sounds really interesting. Thanks for the great review!

By the blessings of Amon Amarth, I shall ply this game in Val Halla!
Sounds like you've got the right soundtrack ;)
Seems like just the thing to run with my kid. She watched the review with me and liked the face paint.
Ah, that's awesome! And great to hear it's a game you'd be running with your little shield maiden!

It's a pretty neat mechanic. Plus the games in Runecairn are designed to last 2-3 hours, so they are pretty quick.
I love the Norse/Viking setting, maybe I could convince my partner to play this with me. I need a badass shield maiden ;)
That's awesome!
Is it really just designed for one-on-one play? Can it be run by a warden and a full party of four?
You can run it like a traditional game, with a GM and multiplayers, yes.
interesting, thank you!
That sounds pretty cool! I'm looking forward to checking it out! BTW, your description states this giveaway ends May 31, 2021, and not 2022 =)
Oh, thanks! Fixed!
Super cool
