The biggest hurdle there would be the need to declare independence before the AIs. Not yet sure if I'll be ready in time for that. Kinda wanted to clear out some of the natives and build several more settlements, but they wouldn't have time to get built up properly. We'll see what I end up doing. :-)
Point of interest: Jean de Brebeuf works on Missionaries already working in villages, not just new ones. Wish the game explained that better.
This game desperately needs an advisor screen that records what the indians want and what they train in after you visit them with a scout.
