Nice job Sam. Just a tip. Your flight director / AP engagement was a little messy on take off. In weather/visibility like that, pilots would always be taking advantage of the FD system. You had no mode selected, when making your initial turn out. Even selecting HDG mode would have helped tidy up the turn. You also engaged the AP with no appropriate modes pre-selected on the FD, which resulted in the sudden directional change and the dive in altitude (FD was set as basic pitch, but you were climbing way above the dispayed indication. The plane therefore naturally dived to 'hunt' the lower set pitch mode. Setting a lateral and vertical mode and ensuring the aircraft is on the FD indications is vital, prior to AP engagement in the Q400.
lol @ 15:50 "This one little sticker way underneath is a mirror image" Nothing gets by you, Q8Pilot! Surely, you should work accident investigations. :D
Perhaps put your wipers up to cut down on wind noise so we can hear you better on these Q8 tutorials. Also turn down the sounds just a bit. Thank you for these tutorials I always learn something from them.
@@Q8Pilot Evidently not after looking at some RL inflight photos. So.... perhaps turning down the aircraft sound just a tad to make that great voice of yours easier to hear. :)
Q8Pilot - whenever I need advice for Xplane aircraft and tutorials, I come to you first! Great content, keep it up 👍
Many thanks for all the effort you put in your tutorials.
I need help with my TRQ, when I’m in flight like an hour after my TRQ goes all the way to 0 and my speed goes from 250kts- 120kts and I crash
Oh this is great …you are doing deeper tutorials now…thank you
Most welcome sir, glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for all the helpful information 👍

question: how do you input the squawk frequency?

That would help, but I hardly think that it is part of any standard procedure.

Please tell me it's not necessary to use the mouse to pull back the two prop levers in this addon? Can the prop levers not be assigned to axes?
Yes you can assign to axis.
Salam ramdhan brother. Thanks for the good tutorial very useful. This is very good aircraft. Steep learning curve

What are you using for inputs to steer the nosewheel steering. Great Video!
I use the RD1 rudder pedals.
nice vid! How are the fps with the last update compared to Zibo or IXEG?
After the recent update, the performance is pretty good.
Hey welcome to my home airport..lol
Have they fixed the levers yet? 1:04:46 and 1:47:00- apparently not. Wake me up when they fix them 🙄
no one has noticed anything wrong with them
@@twohi2play Really. Guess you don't read the forums or you fly with a keyboard and mouse. Or you work for FJS
How can one claim to have developed a deep systems aircraft and not even bother to have real fuel temps? This one stays in my hangar.
