I'm convinced there's people that go around on UA-cam just putting thumbs down on everything. There's no reason to thumb this video down... It's a purely informative video with no antagonistic Behavior..

I am still several months out for getting my gas forge, I use to do a lot of smithing years ago, life got in the way and I have not been able to do much at all, I gave away my coal forge to my nephew so that He could get started. in part because I wanted to either build or purchase a gas forge. to my surprise the technology for such things have become a lot more accessible. thanks for all the info, I am sure it will help me make an informed decision. The chili forge does seem to be a very nice product hopefully I can get something like that, some of the entry level forges make me nervous. I may have to get one just the same and then make some changes to improve the safety.

My experience with chili forge was positive just like yours. Great packaging and the forge works great too.

Thought that was the parts tumbler. Can't wait to see the new forge up and running.

W0W! It just so happens that I had the first fire in my new Chili Cayenne Forge yesterday. It came proudly packed by Angel and was in perfect shape. I am looking forward to wearing it out--- but that does not seem likely. I enjoyed the video, John.

I love my Chile forge. Got the single burner and its need awesome so far. The packaging was amazing no issues whatsoever and set up and running in no time at all. Can’t speak higher praises of Chile.

I built my forge out of an old air compressor tank...2" of ceramic fiber on the walls covered in refractory cement and fire brick on the floor. I'm running 3 burners on the recommendation of John. Typically, I only need to run either one or two burners at a time but the third one is there if I need it.

I have the little Chili forge with one burner and I love it. I was worried about high heat so I use the coal forge for any forge welding temps. I have kept up on the refractory ceramic stuff to make sure there are no cracks etc.. It is very fragile and easy to accidentally poke a rod of steel into. My forge has the removable end caps in the event the wool needs to be re-stuffed. It also has the old kiln shelves. I thought about making a ceramic roof for it using fire clay but I have never gotten around to it.

My forge is just made of fire bricks. Real easy to replace bricks and continue to forge weld. Nice video

Thank you. Closest look I’ve gotten at a Chile. I have to make my own because of finances, but I am taking cues from Chile. These videos may be old but they are all new to me 👍🏻 I’m going with the anvilfire p75 black beauty burners and hoping for a clean execution. God Bless

That's just good business. Having built my own gas forge, I can say there is WAY more TIME spent than money in repairing or building a forge, and my conclusion at the end was to buy a ready made forge if you can save up to do it. Glad you showed the difference.

I have the little Chilli. Works but I haven't tried to forge weld yet. It is due for a rebuild.
