So much passion and synergy between these young artists to play original music. It is refreshing. Though I am not expert in classical or neoclassical music, I have become a fan. Wait for the album and if I have chance the concert in Paris in October.
This is so beautifully done, i am in awe, i play the piano too and i am learning this song wow thanks Hania and Dobrawa i feel like i can hear you talking thru your music and it isnt just this song every song by them i have listened to!!!! Very well done!
I think it's an okay background piece, but there's almost no "Melodyline" here. The even more sad part is that (at least in the piano composing scene) there are way too many pieces like this... all a loop from start to finish with little creativity in chord progression. I think you forget the "melody" of this piece in the first 2 minutes after you've heard it.
If you want piano compositions with rich, creative and diverse melody, check out David Hicken here on youtube. I dont know any other modern piano composer who comes close to him. His older albums are "gold" for any pianist.

We saw Hania Rani in Zürich in March this year at Kaufleuten. Perhaps we had far too high expectations, there were far fewer pure piano pieces than we expected (more keyboards somehow, difficult to explain) and the stage setup and our seats (on the side, terrible view, numerous people moved somewhere else) ) were awful (will think twice before going to Kaufleuten again!). We just saw her back most of the time. I think she's a frustrated electronic dance music producer ;-)

It's like a wave receding and then returning.
