Some notes regarding the levels in the showcase AP-5 Penance is more than enough to kill enemies from both lanes, Vigil could hold the other one. However, because of the stage's mechanic, he would die sooner or later, forcing me to retreat him. Alternatively you could use Red or Texas2 and just constantly redeploy them. Thanks to Bassline however both lanes can be covered with ease and there is no need to redeploy anyone, turning the stage into a cakewalk 6-5 Sustain was always a problem in Lupoknights. Every bit of damage taken by the operators was permanent with no way of getting it back besides having to retreat the unit. With Bassline now you can have much more leeway when it comes to being hit by enemies. 7-3 Thanks to his healing Bassline also enables other units like Lappland to hold lanes. While he himself isn't very tanky due to beinga 5* and a Guardian Defender, Bassline no doubt beats her in terms of survival. She has no sustain and is very vulnerable during her skill's downtime so having someone she can hide behind while also being healed is a big thing H7-1 As it turns out. Bassline (as well as most if not all defenders) synergizes very well with Horn. Not only does he benefit greatly from Horn's +28% (+31% at Pot3) ATK increase to all defenders, he also serves as a good way to block enemies to allow Horn's buffed trait to take effect. Of course this is already possible to do with Penance. The problem being that she relies on killing enemies herself, meaning that Horn might accidentally steal the kills from her, which can lead to Penance running out of barrier and dying. Bassline suffers no problem like that and does not need to kill enemies to sustain himself, letting Horn take full value from her module. Keep in mind that Bassline is still not at 100% trust (70% at the time of recording), meaning that not only this video showcases his performance without the module but also without the full stats from max trust. Despite that however he still works really great and at his full potential will no doubt have a permanent place in Lupoknights
One thing I'm really hoping this opens the door for, is more "no 6 star lupo only" clears if they seem possible. I think that'd be a fun additional challenge. I sadly ran out of LMD so I couldn't max level him right away (e2 60 for now), and I need to save some rolls so he's not max pot either, but I'm still excited to have him

Oh, it was a niche knight thing. At first I thought they was trying to showcase how Bassline S2 works and would change the outcome of a no 6 star clear or something. Since S2 gives a shield for arts damage, I was expecting someone to do the Talulah fight with the fireball wave and everything since usually people use Nightingale for the sweet res. They really need to specify that they were doing a Lupoknight clear.
@@ggok Lol... Sounds a lot like my Vigil demo. However, I did it as an example of how a summon with "extra lives" is useful in certain maps with mostly one-shot scenarios. Vigil's S1 is what generates those extra lives faster. But I hope that at least it's somewhat intriguing to others; just a little food for thought.
@@GawainW I think something like Vigil is ok, but it's annoying when the video doesn't mention anything about nicheknights and they're showcasing an operator that wouldn't do anything significant normally. @@yesno1085 yeah, the 10(+2)% healing increase from nearl is not something to over look, although bassline's s2 giving a 560 hp arts barrier is nothing to scoff at either, which i think when including the extra res is about the same as nightingale's s2 barriers. edit: looking at it, i dont think bassline's barriers have a time limit, so they would stay until broken so thats a thing to think about.
Hes not bad of a replacement for nearl but if you have nearl then just use her Fun fact i have nearl since i started playing ak which is around 2 years now and shes still not elite1 yet. I just dont put much faith in healing defender and my mind has not change yet

What @ryuukibloodcrest said. Up till now Lupo only niche didn't have a reliable way to heal outside of gimmicks like Penance's barrier and Vigil's pet. Bassline changes that and in this video I wanted to showcase the new options he provides to said niche

Bassline: I'm literally saria s1 lite
Congratulations to Lupoknights for getting a healing a defender, truly an achievement.

Healing Defenders are a bless in this game. Glory to them.

Arts Defender, more like Arts Damage Dealer😂😂😂

I'm glad someone gets to enjoy him xD i thought he was perro before he was released and was sad we didn't get another healer

This is nearl but with more RES buff
Nearl talent pretty crazy tho, ok not for lupo knights but it affects everything, even stuff like bard healing and angelina healing

Yeah, Horn is really amazing :)
So, Lupoknights H8-4 with Bassline when?
Big RES, but why you test him not against Caster enemy?
His module gives him tiny bit extra res so I think it's better I save a showcase for that when I max him out fully
