@@0zbrian that's the old school mentality when it was about keeping kayfabe alive and weeding out the guys he might quit in a few years and expose the business. I've been to wrestling school and wrestle part time as a hobby, my trainers always said if someone gets hurt during training someone screwed up, either you or the other guy were being careless. Yeah they'll be rough with you but it's not to see how "passionate" you are but to get you used to the pain and learn to work through it and absolutely NOBODY is leaving with anything broken unless a mistake was made

Same here as well. I was 15 when I started to attend a Pro Wrestling school. For a couple of years, I was training. I was also feeling the same way as you did. Everything was working against me, and I was also going to school and I had problems back home. So I decided to quit, with the idea that, if Pro Wrestling comes back to me, I’ll pick it up. But now I’m 26, I’m glad that I can go out of bed without any pain in my body😂

"The Anesthesia" or other moves along that route would make a great name for a Demented Doctor. "Laughing Gas" "The Plug Puller submission" so painful you wanna die. "The Lethal Injection" which Jay Lethal already has "The Overdose" "Blunt Force Trauma" already used by LA Knight.
Code Red are other moves that easily fit.

All of my life I wanted to be a pro wrestler. Did wrestling in HS & all. Then at 20 I went to wrestling school and in one week I realized it wasn't for me. We had to take 10 back body drops in a row. By the third one I knew I didn't want to take anymore abuse to my body. ESPECIALLY if I wasn't supposed to fight back. Had to find a new career path.

    I’ve got a similar story…
So I’m from Brazil and there is no wrestling tradition here whatsoever. As a huge wrestling fan, my dream was to step into the ring myself and make that a career.
But that meant I’d have to have enough money to move to another country, maintain myself in a strange land, afford food, housing and training - and develop a wrestling physique to back it up.
So I knew I had to master the principles of money and bodybuilding to get started (and learning English, of course). I did that and eventually raised enough dollars to be a millionaire in my country, developed a nice physique, learned the language - but never pulled the trigger on the wrestling deal, as now I have a son and a wife.
At 34, it’s unlikely I could start a career in that field. Despite having accomplished a lot due to my wanting to be a wrestler mentality, I often wonder… what if?

I did Lance Storm's wrestling school in 2015 when I was 22. I learned a valuable lesson in the middle of training: there are some things that are only worth getting into if you 1000% love it. I can safely say I didn't love pro wrestling enough to want to do it after those 3 months. I have incredible respect for pro wrestlers and what they go through; I thought it might be my thing but I didn't love the actual wrestling like everyone else, I only liked the promos and characters and storylines. So I focused more on my loves for acting and standup comedy, and now adult content. Those things can't potentially paralyze me like pro wrestling could, and I just wasn't someone who was passionate about pro wrestling like the other ones in my class. Still, I share your love of wrestling like you Chris, and you inspire me to keep hustling and doing things that bring me true joy! 💪🙏
