The formula for this channel is pretty simple: great trails make great videos. Three awesome descents on this epic day. Ibis needs to hurry up and make an eBike so we can survive a ride like this without being packed inside a shuttle vehicle.
I completely forgot how great Doctor Park is. Crazy speed. Great tech. Amazing views. Pain and Pleasure perfection!

Me and my dad just started MtB together.. best thing we ever did.
What happened to your dad
@@got2choosejoy nothing lol 😂
Oh lol
Same it's so fun the talks we have during the ride.

13:23 - "MOUNTAIN BIKING!!!!" I don't think I've ever heard a more sincere and wholesome declaration of pure and absolute love for the sport. Kudos Brian, you're living life correctly.

Hello
Totally agree
I came down here to comment about that freedom too, glad I wasn't the only person to really enjoy that
“Most dangerous part of any mtb ride is a fire road descent.”
So true lol. The worst crash I ever had by far was on a fire road descent.
Yep, me too
Same here, wtf?! 🤣
So true, broken fibula on fire road transfer
@@janmaly1591 cause usually ride down fireroads ur kinda sending it; way faster than you’d be able to go on singletrack. On top of that it’s usually pretty loose with crappy traction 😂
@@abassi1173 hell yeah! lol I got a nice helicopter ride off the mountain after sending it on fire road...now if only I could remember what actually happened. 🤔
I love this dude, love your channel, I'm saving money at the moment for a bike. You are my biggest inspiration. Keep it up!!!
Keep saving man, get what you want, and have a blast!
Which bike?
@Jack Lacroix you’ll love it! I used to skate too.
Chase your dream bro you got it

I just survived the nasty covid 19 with my brand new Guerrilla Gravity Trail Pistol sitting in my living room. I watched every episode of your 50 state shred and a whole lot more! Thanks for getting me through a tough time and I can't wait to get out and start shredding!!! Thank you for all the awesome content!!!
Thanks god bro! How are you recovering from it? Have you got energy to go out and ride again?
Actually doing pretty well, ride 15 miles yesterday, stop and go but went well. The first week was terrible but slowly got better everyday. Today I'm back to work. Fingers crossed it goes well.
Glad that you're OK.
Great choice on bike... I've got mine set up with a 150mm Lyrik and "Pistola" style, so 130mm in the back. I've ridden everything from 30+ mile epics in Sun Valley to the Whole Enchilada in Moab, and it's pretty much perfect.
@@chasingepic that's awesome! I can't wait to hit bigger stuff with mine!
I love how steady the camera was the whole time, very well done +video quality
The part at 14:29 made me tear up a little, not gonna lie. I just found your videos. I’ve been watching mountain biking videos as an escape. I’ve never even been mountain biking, but I’ve wanted to go so badly. Due to COVID, I’m unable to travel very far. I’ve also been working full time and just can’t afford to take any time off. I’m exhausted and burned out, and there is seemingly no end in sight. But you give me hope. Your attitude and enthusiasm made my day. I’ve been in a rut lately but I’m hoping to come out on top. Thank you for this. Wishing you all the best. Stay safe friends.
“Let the Ripmo rip!” Yes! That was my kind of ride Brian.
These 50 state shred videos convinced me to go ride in Utah a few weeks ago. Two days of riding beautiful and amazing trails.
Life is meant to be lived, go live it.
Did Doctor Park 4 years ago, Sept 2016 and I loved it so much, I could remember every part of the trail. What I especially liked about it was you'd be flying and then come around a corner and be presented with a serious, chunky tech section with little time to think, just react, pick your line and commit. Was so sweet on my little Phantom with only 105mm of travel in the back, but perfect geo for this type of trail.
Forgot to also give a little FYI about wet shoes, in case you didn't already know it. If you've got wet shoes, get a newspaper or brown paper and crumple it up, then stuff the shoes tight with it. Leave it for a few hours to draw out the majority of the water/moisture, then remove and make sure they're opened up well and let the air do the rest - if you've got a hair dryer, that helps speed things along. You can even keep the paper and re-use it once it dries out.
“MOUNTAIN BIKIINNNGGG!!”
- Brian Kennedy, 2020
I’m telling ya Brian you need to get a bunch of newspapers for when your shoes are wet, cram it in your shoes and they’ll be dry the next morning
That looked epic. I'd absolutely love to ride a trail like that. I think I need to book myself a trip. :)
I grew up riding some local trails (I'm in the uk)
But I have pretty bad hyper mobility in my knees and ankles. Now every time I try to ride I end up damaging my knees in one way or another.
I really miss riding, but this channel has been really nice to watch and remember the fun I had riding :3
So sad man nothin u can do about it? theraphy or surgery?
@Jesus Soto I'm afraid not but I got a peddle assisted electric bike about a year ago and omg I've got my life back :) I still have to take it easy some times and I have hurt my self a couple times lol, but if I'm not stupid about it I can ride all I want, it's great!
I used to shred around Lake Tahoe on a rigid Bianchi back in the 1990's. I went on a vacation and when I returned home the bike was gone. Someone gave me a rigid Huffy which weighed a bit more, but I still kept up with my buddy on his hard tail with the old school RockShox forks. In fact I watched him endo every time we rode and I was clearing everything and never crashed. I attribute his frequent crashes to having only front suspension. When you land a jump or hop off a log or a rock, there is no place to go but tipping forward and WHOOP! right over the bars. I was faster than him on the downhills, and uphills for that matter. I rode that Huffy into the ground and was without a bike for a few years. Then, on a whim while at Walmart in Kansas with my brother in law, we both decided to buy the Walmart special full suspension bikes. Cheap and heavy as hell, but more fun once I got used to riding with, very stiff, but somewhat noticeable suspension. It was a whole new world compared to a rigid, no suspension bike. Then back in California a couple years later I left my bike at my usual riding partners house for a few months and when I went to get it he said, "Oh. That was YOUR bike? I didn't know so I gave it away." WTF?! Then on a work stint in the Dallas area a few years later, I got another Walmart special. The problem was that in the area I stayed I could only find one small stretch of dirt trails to ride that paralleled a paved creek path for pedestrians and bicycles. When I returned to California in January 2021 I left that bike behind. It's time to get a REAL bike. Now that I finally nailed down a good paying career.
Thanks for the encouragement to get back out there! Love your content.
Love your push to get people out riding! It really is why I watch - to get inspired to go out on my own bike, even if just for 20-30 mins :)
Glad to hear you are taking good care and feeling good! This can be a great tips video for all riders new and experienced
Now that was an awesome ride, very cool trails, with lots of cool views. You were blasting down
those trails. Had just the right amount of tech stuff. Have fun and stay safe.
Live your videos! I like that you explain what’s in the trail and a little bit of the state to!
I've rode both trails several times, never back to back! Good for you guys to do that as a big loop. Thats a big day at elevation.
BRO CRESTED BUTTE IS SOMEWHERE I LOVE TO GO IN THE SUMMER!! ITS SO RARE FOR ME TO SEE PEOPLE DOING THINGS IN COLORADO! THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!
Great vlog Brian and amazing trails with some insane speeds.
i am 65 years old guy, just got myself a brand new full suspension mt. bike, ready to rock&roll, lose a few pounds in next a few weeks!
Oh how I wish I had your brain chemistry! Such a positive, happy guy and to top it off you are not tied down with kids. So glad you are doing what you are doing!
The last descent was insane, on my bucket list!! nice video as always !!
Doctors Park was the ride that made me get back into mountain biking. A few more years later it was the second break in ride on my ‘14 Devinci Troy! Keep up the good work, I really enjoy your channel.
Yes! We were off our man bikes doing the road thing. So inspired to get back on the man. Thank you. So pumped and reminded of THAT feeling.
Dude, thank you for these videos. They get me through the week when I’m not able to get out and ride
When you get those perfect trails few things beat riding a bike, nice you back riding awesome looking trails rather than the not so amazing flatter stuff.
Just back from 3 back to back weekends of bike trips but makes me want to go away again eventhough amazing trails outside my door, gotta ride tomorrow whatever the weather.
This looks like a real fun time, thanks for the video.
Unbelievable trails and scenery, the best yet. What an advert, MTB at it’s best. Cheers for sharing.
Woohoo, my "almost" backyard! Never been out that way, now I'll have to next summer! Another great vid, thanks!
My husband goes on this trail all the time during the summer! So happy you went and got to experience Colorado! Hope your trip was as amazing as this ride!
Do you know where this trail is at? Any info much appreciated!
WOW! Those trails just look Amazing!! Beautiful scenery and I am so impressed with th eamazing trails you get to ride. I am in Europe, and around the south of Germany we definitely have some great trails, but not as long or extensive and well maintained like some of the ones you have shown in your 50 state schred series.
Thanks for sharing.
Off biking tomorrow (Saturday). the weather is meant to warm up a little here in Germany.
Awesome! When we got snowed out up there we ran to Durango and got 2 full days in there before getting snowed out there. This late in October you have had amazing weather.
I think this is the closest to release time I've watched your vids :)
Love these videos...thank you. Two and a half hours yesterday, in the woods.
This is awesome! Love this and I watched while I rode on my stationary, I felt like I was on the trail with you
Started mountain biking just before covid and watching your channel for years.
Finally going to Crested Butte NEXT WEEK and hitting Doctors Park!
See ya on the trail
just got a bike yesterday! im stoked to start exploring !!! love the vid!
I was there in September riding around crested butte for a couple of days & my camp was right @ the end of the doctor park trail. It was very convenient after a long day of riding. Plus it was pretty cool to chill with a beer in hand after the ride & watch other riders coming down that very technical switchback section at the end of the trail.
This terrain is absolutely breathtaking. I could live out there for the rest of my days.
This trails are just marvelous!
Love the trials!! Thanks for sharing
Doctor Park is one of the trails on my MTB Bucket list, so I WILL do it next year, once I recover from hip surgery!
I haven't ridden Crusty Butt in over ten years. There's just so much good riding here in Colorado that I just never seem to make it over the hill. Great video. Keep up the good work.
Really good video! Those forest rips yielded some breathtaking scenery.
I did a chasing epic in moab that was great. This looks like a must do.
Bro, I live in CO and remember that storm vividly...
Same! And, it occurred when I was camped out in Chicago Basin 😂
Can't wait to get off crutches and go biking again, for now i enjoy watching this though :)
Yea same, just broke my arm, so I’m waiting till it’s heeled and saving money at the moment for a new bike.. the sport is just such amazing.🙂
@@noahmorin1246 that sucks bro can't wait for you to get a speedy recovery
Great video! We camp up at a little lake just outside of CB every year, but haven't done any real biking there. The kids are finally getting old enough that I think we can try to take them on some of the trails next summer. These videos are getting me excited for next year! I remember that crazy storm. You had perfect timing with the weather. I remember we had 80-90 degree days then crazy cold and 5" snow on the ground the next day in Denver!
I just started to get into biking and it is so much fun. This is my goal is to be able to go to different states and ride like he does but currently I ride on the trails me and my friends made a few months ago.
I just rode this for the first time a few weeks ago. All the leaves were turning, it was epic! One of my favorite trails ever. If you’re still in Colorado check out pipeline descent near pikes peak. Actually, it’s probably too late for that due to the snow... next trip I guess.
Amazing video once again. Much love
Oh, what a day! WHAT A LOVELY DAY!!!!!!1!!!
hi from Chile.. love your trail rides... im a rider too... min 15 " make the world a better place" totally agree..
Love this Video all of your videos it makes me feel great while watching ❤️👌
Heading up to crested butte this year with my new MTN bike, was gonna do some of the scenic trails before doing and extreme ones, pretty excited for this year!
We often debate how well Motorcycles would do against MTB downhill except we tend to catch MTB riders going downhill when riding my KTM but I have never caught a motorcycle riding my Santa Cruz. Great Videos!!!
"I'm eating right... I have enough Oreos in my bag today"
lol
love riding this trail...the Jedi trees! my favorite trail in the state for sure. great camping and fishing near by as well!
it is so cool,i like your channel style.
Awesome I love your cam footage I hope my chest mount looks like that when I do my first ride and video
That's a great video, you were flying. AWESOME
Nice n flowy trails.. Love it!
Nice!!!! I can't wait till my bike gets here and I can get out and start riding. I hope I can get my skills up so that I can ride course's like this around the US
Making the world a better place, one ride at a time! I concur
Man that looked like fun!! I remember back in the late 80's not too many people liked us blazing around on the trails. I'm originally from Denver and have good memories of bombing down the fire trails there.
Nice video.I have been on this trail on my motorcycle several tlmes.Gonna have to try it on my bicycle one of these days.
Well I can't go to CO and ride right now, but its 70* in the middle of the day in Phoenix, think I'll go ride my bike now. Just the inspiration I needed.
Outstanding in so many ways ❤️
Dude this is my favorite trailer I have ridden so far. Felt straight up euphoria coming through the fast flowy section at teh bottom
Such a cool video. Such a beautiful trail
Got to get my ass to Colorado some day awesome stuff💚
Cool, I go to Pagosa Springs co every summer to visit family and Mtb , great xc riding all around Pagosa
This is how i imagine Heaven looks like.
One of the most scenic videos you've ever done!
Shush
Every next trail you ride is the best trail! Not a bad thing at all.
A trail I know. So fun to watch.
I have to thank you, this rekindled the mountain biker in me! (Some of those trails are way too scary for me though)
UA-cam is amazing. Back in the 90s all I had was Mountain Biking magazine!
Awesome down hill Motto Brotha thanks for the high light Morning ride 🚵🏻🚵🏻💸💸
Much love all the way from India...I'm getting a bike and going into the wild soon!😁🤘
I'm totally inspired!!! You go so fast I Wana try thiz
bingo bango haha nice another big city greens fan i take it. surprizenly not the first youtuber i've heard say that haha. love your journey and your energy dude. Can't wait to get a new bike myself and how more fun outdoors already =D
Beautiful! Love it!
Man, looks sick
So sad that there's no trails like that here in my country. Those landscapes were mesmerizing!!
Tomorrow I’m getting my first real mountain bike and apparently it’s really good. I don’t know that much about mountain bikes, but I know how to use them! And my brother is a nerd about it and my dad knows allot too. So I’m really excited, and we might be moving to Colorado! So I’m excited really excited.
Edit: it’s amazing! The only problem is is
the front gears don’t work, and the 7th gear on the back doesn’t work.
I wished I have a bike like this to injoy the ride
Thats crazy i love it
Love the outros!
Loved it BK what an awesome looking trail, gotta love a bit of dust dirt, we love to ride :)
amazing place to ride
Dead man's is my favorite trail love the video man keep it up
amazing views!
Hey Brian!! Glad to see you knocking out the 50 states!!! Hopefully in 2021 you can get back here to Iowa and ride the Lizard Creek Bike Park!!!! We have almost 10 miles of trails, in 3 different loops!!! Hope you can make it sometime!!! Ride safe muh man!!!!!!
You should do a short overview of your favorite trails in Colorado once completed since you’re getting so many done
@David Ari Wolf yeah that’s a good idea, I hope he does like a top 10 after he’s done
I love how happy you are lol
Looks like a dream there Brian!
Gotta love Colorado!
