I know all i need to know by hearing how he talks to her. He's an insecure little man who can't handle that millions of men find his wife attractive and every one of them is potentially a risk to him if theyre even marginally better, and "worse", his wife is the bread winner of the family and apparently a lot of men can't handle that. According to a few different polls, the majority of men (70ish %) wouldn't emotionally be okay with their wives making more money than them. Even if they're both financially stable. It's a whole thing.
So i think that's the root of the issues here..-His issues. He resorted to trying to isolate her, make her hate herself, so that she'll feel lucky for having him because "no one else would want her". This is how insecure men keep women on the hook when they fear nothing else will work, i guess because they think or know they've got nothing to offer beyond successfully manipulating her into staying with him. Bet he's really kicking himself now. I hear he's "shocked" to hear himself on recording. Yeah i bet! Hope it shocks him into being a halfway decent person,!

Do I condone the husbands behavior? Absolutely the fuck not! Do I realize there might be other information we don’t know about that caused that crazy reaction? Yes.

Please people don’t make a judgement based on that video. We don’t know what led up to that abusive phone call. People don’t act like that out of nowhere. There was definitely some shit she did to cause that reaction. I’m not condone that behavior in the slightest but people in the internet absolutely refuse to acknowledge both sides of a story.
