Ken I give you much credit my friend at your age still working like a horse and climbing dangerous roofs. God continue blessing you.and boys. You guys work great together, great team you guys are....
It is almost like watching "poetry" in motion as all three of you work together. You all know what is required. The road construction means that you will work around their schedule. Take care. 😊
Yay, first truss of the year! Looking good guys! I'm always amazed how you rotate those trusses up with your foot Ken! Those trusses look pretty heavy. Dan waiting for the roof plywood to come up to him. Dan said "Perfect!" You guys did great when Ken was gone to breakfast. Nice job of you and Dan putting up the plywood roofing on the steep side Ken. I like the drone shot too of Dan and Chad doing the backside! Lots of progress. Thanks for this video Ken and crew! Looks like that wrist isn't bothering you too bad! Good to see.
So nice watching you guys build these garages! I could build one just from watching you. It’s kinda like I’m doing an apprenticeship program. Keep them coming!
Your a legend ken. I am a carpenter in west wales UK ,and among other work I get involved in garden rooms jobs and general carpentry so I appreciate the hard work you guys do. You have a top crew, keep up the hard work.
It just occurred to me that the sound of a DeWalt cordless nailer spooling up is exactly the same as the music from the movie 'Gargoyles' from the 70's. Lol.
Do I see new Hammers on Dan’s and Chad belts? As the plywood went up everything became tighter! And the homeowner needs a tree trimmer. After all these years you’ve found some good roof shoes 😂
Good Morning Ken, doing 👍 You should look into those New Foldable Garages& Cabins when you get ready to retire! Probably be easier & Quick & you can work Part-time!👍🇺🇸🌞🙏🙌🤞👌✌️🌄
Snow load! The New England area gets lots of snow so plywood is required to hold that load up over the winters. The OSB is fine for the walls. They wrap the garages well so they stay dry even with snow up against them.
Hey Ken, On Your Standard 24 by 24 Gable end garage, what pitch roof do you normally put on? We're doing a 24 by 30 with a 4-12 pitch just curious as to what you normally do. I subscribed to your new channel by the way! Love your videos!
Ken, how do you know you have the trusses in the right place if you don’t from time to time check them with a square to make sure they are perpendicular to each other?

Bad Habit of using the step ladder 🪜 as a leaning ladder not safe at all 😮 hate to say that but we know that accidents happen so quickly specially when we ain't doing it the safe way.
You guys don't wear tool belts with hammers?? forget those stupid nail guns for setting trusses....hammers work just fine....speaking from a carpenter of over 50 years...also hand stacked roofs are quicker and stronger...if you know how to cut a roof.....
"In God WE Truss" do I hear an AMEN!
Amen
It is a pleasure to watch you guys work together so well without drama.
Good to see Dan back.
The guys really work well together.
You guys make it look to easy. Good to see everyone working together, it seems to go up so fast, I guess this is because you know what you are doing.
They are well able to do the job,you taught them well..have a bless day

Glad to see Dan feeling better.
Wishing you guys a good day
Always fun and informative to watch! Thanks Ken, Chad and Dan!
That was a nice build day. Looks like everyone enjoyed themselves. Continue the good work.
No more walking on roofs for me! Enjoying watching your builds.
Very nice, absolutely nothing for the critics here to see....so yeah. Thanks for the drone shot , nice touch. ❤
Enjoyed the banta between the guys while you were breakfasting.

My favorite Saltbox! looking good guys 👍
Ken Great work I’m impressed by your agility at your age but’ take good care of yourself as we need more videos thanks for the entertainment
Absolutely fantastic video Ken, keeping them coming. It is some what of difficulty build with the road construction and trying to stay on schedule, 🌴😎

So good to see this coming together. Hope the boys have their fishing poles in the truck to catch dinner on the way home! 🐟 🐠 🎏
Lookin good , lookin square...
BEEEAUUUTIFUL day it appears!
Dan is a house. That is one big dude. 😄
More like a garage 😁
I Use to Love the First Job of the Season......Took a Minute or Two to Get Back in the Groove....Than It all Comes Back to Ya :)

How fast its getting done ...alway enjoy watching👍🙋
Thanks
Thanks Ken and crew .
Good video - appreciate it.
Great 3 man team
It just occurred to me that the sound of a DeWalt cordless nailer spooling up is exactly the same as the music from the movie 'Gargoyles' from the 70's. Lol.
Looking good! Thank you
such a skilled team!
Wow a lot of work for 3 guys in one day.
Enjoy your videos
This one is moving right along, considering you guys are out of practice after a long winter.
Do I see new Hammers on Dan’s and Chad belts? As the plywood went up everything became tighter! And the homeowner needs a tree trimmer. After all these years you’ve found some good roof shoes 😂
in the last video Ken trims the trees just to build the garage. I can see here that it needs a bit more cutting back.
Ken got the "boys" Stiletto hammers for Christmas!
Good Morning Ken, doing 👍 You should look into those New Foldable Garages& Cabins when you get ready to retire! Probably be easier & Quick & you can work Part-time!👍🇺🇸🌞🙏🙌🤞👌✌️🌄
Ken. It seems that you're adding a lot of special sound affects (grunts) to this video. 🤣 Thanks for the vid.
Hi Great you got Mics on the guys to hear them talk too Great Vlog thank you Team
The pros at work
I'm just wondering how many drones you have ? Maybe you could get a few more and sink them together and lift all the roof trusses up .😊
Great job guys! Getting back into the flow...... The struggle is real.
??? OSB for the walls vs. plywood on the roof, what's the difference??
Snow load! The New England area gets lots of snow so plywood is required to hold that load up over the winters. The OSB is fine for the walls. They wrap the garages well so they stay dry even with snow up against them.

What kind of shoes are you using Ken ? "These shoes are really sticky"
sometimes I see builders put spacers between the sheets of ply on the roof - did you do that here? (sometimes it's hard to see)
Nice
Thanks
Have Dan and Chad been buddies for a long time?😊
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🇹🇷
At the rate you guys move (fast) this should be done this week. What is the next job?
They have a 30'x30' garage coming up with 12' walls! I think they have it all ready to go.
Ken is going to pop a hernia…
Howdy Ken
Ken, how do you know you have the trusses in the right place if you don’t from time to time check them with a square to make sure they are perpendicular to each other?
We draw lines 24” apart on the roof plywood so we know where to space the trusses
Hi Ken,
Hope you are much better.
Wow, this is a large garage, how many cars will it hold?
Ken, any particular reason why you use plywood on the roof instead of OSB?
Snow load! The New England area gets lots of snow so plywood is required to hold that load up over the winters. The OSB is fine for the walls. They wrap the garages well so they stay dry even with snow up against them.
@@StoneKathryn Thank you!
I'm pretty sure the code requires two jack studs (each side) for the garage door opening, not just one. Are you adding them later?
This is typical construction here. Thanks

I have seen videos of Ken doing a conventional roof, but most of his customers are trying to avoid center supports so a truss is the way to go.
❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💪🙏🪜🪚⚒️🦘🇦🇺🇺🇸
