I'm gonna say its more likely from 91 or 92. The new library didn't open until 1992 and Ritchie's Wharf upgrades took place between 90 and 92 I believe. Still a great view into the past of the town
My family was from there before moving to Montreal (the Mackinnons). Haven’t gone back since the last relatives passed away about 10 years ago. I miss it. How is the town doing?
Is that Ian Byers from CFAN? How long before they amalgamated and got rid of the name? They should have kept all the place names and combined the services under one like they wanted. The Miramichi Regional Municipality like Halifax did. Keep the place names with the history of those towns.

The bridge in Newcastle opened in 1995 so it’s definitely ‘94 or earlier.
I was born in '90 and I'm the little one they do the close up on at the wharf. I'd say around '94
