I think he is difficult to use right. He has to go up against magical beings to threaten him with anything more than a temporary beatdown. So to me it seems he is in situations where he is underpowered or overpowered but rarely just right.

I know they keep acting like Lobo can kill anything just because he can beat Superman. In multiple incarnations the Ghost Rider is either an Angel or a demon and as we just saw he DESTROYED Lobo completely

(It helps that Hulk was specifically trying to make them feel the same pain he had, rather than just blindly lashing out.) Anyway the moral of the story is that Hulk's life is endless misery and Ghost Rider specifically empathized with him.
The Ghost Rider is criminally underused and undervalued by Marvel. He’s one of the most hardcore bad asses in all of comics. Not just Marvel, ALL comics

A slight side track but within the realm; could you consider creating a reaction tribute to the late and amazing Kevin Conroy? On November 15th will be the first anniversary of his death. He was the sole reason I got into acting. The Next DEATH BATTLE is coming on Oct 23 which happening is on Monday. Only 2 days left, Its Gojo VS Makima (Jujutsu Kaisen VS Chainsaw Man). Both Animes Series is about Cursed Spirit & Devils which is pretty much why its happening for Halloween. And Both characters are really POPULAR recently.
I love this battle ,lobo is one of my favorite DC characters but I knew the stare was his undoing cause he knows he doing wrong,but a side note Ghost rider has tried his stare on the punisher but cause Frank saw no sin in cleaning up his streets there was no guilt orf sin to hurt him freaked Johnny tf out.
That Punisher instance has been deemed non-canon, they had not clearly defined the rules of the Penance Stare at the time. This is even addressed in the DB video; the Penance Stare worked on Punisher when it was used again later.

It was obvious Ghost Rider is gonna win. If Mephisto can fight GALACTUS the planet eater on equal footing, then Ghost Rider that manages to beat Mephisto is obviously even stronger. Lobo might be powerful, but he ain't cosmic level powerful like Galactus. Lobo is at most Superman level powerful, able to obliterate PLANETS. But Galactus and Mephisto managed to obliterate GALAXIES. That's the difference in their scale of power between Ghost Rider and Lobo.
The thing they seem to forget is that Lobo was essentially the OG Deadpool. Comic relief and did a bunch of tom-fuckery when when it came to 4th wall breaking. Should of given Lobo the edge and the win.

Current canon dictates that remorse has no impact on whether the Penance Stare works.
