Yup. That about sums it up. Both women had all of reality at their fingers, but Scarlet Witch could not use that power without losing some mental stability and putting a strain on her sanity. While Zatanna's whole thing is the more focused and in control she is, the more powerful she becomes.
Nah. The closest is Balrog vs TJ Combo at the time of each other’s episode. It was literally a matter of a few POUNDS in punching class that was the deciding factor for the victor. Like in the single digits and everything 😂
Ah man, I'm happy that you reacted to this one. This episode is easily in top 5 of favorite Death Battle episodes since I absolutely love Zatanna. I grew up with a lot of DC cartoon Reruns and the Justice League cartoon. I quickly began to enjoy Zatanna as I absolutely love Magician type characters. She even became one of my mains when she appeared as a DLC character in Injustice. Even after all the future episodes, I believe this was still the absolute closest possible outcome due to how ridiculously powerful they both are, that the biggest winning factor was the fact that the Scarlet Witch's heavy usage of Chaos Magic affects her mental instability and Zatanna almost always maintains a cool head. I do like how you pointed out how the battle was won via Zatanna utilizing the two most classic Magic tricks, a disappearing act and sawing the woman in half.

I finally caught up on your guy's playlist except for one as I want to watch the show without spoilers. You guys are fun to watch with reactions. There's a bunch of death battles you guys havent seen that I love but if I had to recommend just a few it'd be Jak and Daxter vs Ratchet and Clank, as well as Link vs Cloud.

I realize, I have been suggesting Silver Vs Trunks, which in hindsight does have Dragon ball spoilers. But it doesn't spoil any of DBZ that you haven't watched already. It has some Dragon ball super spoilers though, if only minor spoilers. It mostly goes over Dragon Ball heroes, which isn't canon, so I don't know if that's in the book for a reaction.
There is a difference between someone who is "self-taught" (Wanda) and someone who is who is fully trained (Zatanna). Hence, why I thought that Zatanna deserved her win. Oh, and Wanda is now a mutant again, thanks to Krakoa.

I really should have suggested this on the Hercules vs Sun Wukong battle (it would have made more sense there), but if you like epic battles featuring some of the greatest warriors of history and mythology, I highly recommend Record of Ragnarok, it’s a Netflix exclusive anime that I would love to see you guys react too!

Some things i did wish they would of explained better and or was added 1. She can copy other people's powers and fighting abilities and give them to herself like did she with black canary 2. Zatanna holds back her power when she fights as she has mentioned before so when she fights she is never at full strength 3. I wish they explained more who zorr ans the upside down man was more so it could be understood why it was a feat and explain a bit pre crises superman to understood wow she is about even or stronger then that. Though in the end the battle between them would go either way due to the fact they could do whatever they want

I don't think it was bias but people by now should understand death battle will never truly get the understanding of these characters they put against each other and the backgrounds and history of the characters and how they operate. Imo this battle should've ended in a tie based on both characters'powers. Especially since Wanda can counteract her supposed exploits the same way zatanna can counteract her exploits and vice versa.
Zatanna is a great character and definitely worth learning more about if you have the time. She's an extremely powerful character too and was a great choice to take on the scarlet witch.

Zatana can likely solo Superman by something as simple as stabbing him with a sword made of magic... or by crushing reality and recreating it without him. (Supes is affected normally by magic, no impenetrable body)

A little advice when it comes to death battle they might claim not to be biased but they are undoubtedly biased for example the Alucard vs Dio and basically any of their Naruto battles as well so personally I wouldn't believe everything they say because they do tend to bend the rules and feats to fit their favorite characters possibilities of winning 😅

I don't know, Zatanna isn't generally depicted as being able to do major reality warping the way the Scarlet Witch does. Zatanna's probably got more control and finesse, but for raw power I'd have to give it to Wanda. Either Zatanna knocks Wanda out with a trick or Wanda takes it. If Zatanna had the sort of power level as Wanda, she'd be the equivalent of the JLA on her own. She could face literally any threat and poof them away. There is no record of her doing that. Conclusion: there are very real limits to the sorts of transformations she can perform.

Or sometimes the writer doesn't understand the character particularly well. Which is why the sixth word in my post was "GENERALLY". As in, Zatanna GENERALLY doesn't dominate the way she would if she had Wanda's power level, therefore all indications are that she doesn't GENERALLY have that kind of power level.
This irked TF outta me. Firstly, they dragged out Wanda's played out mental instability storyline. She's already overcame that. Secondly, they literally listed her most mundane feats while omitting her highest level offensive and defensive feats and only naming her HOM breakdown and tapping into the Life Force, yet they conveniently left out that Wanda became the conduit of the Life Force, thus she can use it at will and they also happened to omit that Wanda can resurrect herself, that death can't hold her and she can completely deplete and shut down people's powers. Her highest feat, with her own power, outranks Zatanna's and her power range far exceeds Zatanna's. This was a genuine bullshxt fight by Death Battle, no joke.
