Oh thank you for some stuff I didn't know yet even tho I've had it 3mos. Reading that encyclopedia of an owner's manual just wasn't on my list of stuff "to do"!!! I REALLY appreciate this!!
I just got my car a week ago, but on a long highway full of curves, that lane-assist was making me crazy, felt like I was almost hydroplaning. Thanks for pointing out you can turn that feature off!
After three months, I have to take my eyes off the road more often and for longer periods of time than I’m comfortable. But bear in mind that they have moved a lot of controls to the wheel. Once you get the “defaults” the way you like it, there really isn’t that much that’s not at your fingertips.
@@sirifail4499 Gosh, I guess I hadn't thought of that. Do you have the one that can tell when you are paying attention or not? I got a car last year with the lane assist and it will steer you back between the lines (as long as it can see them). I really do like it because, when I drove the older car and get distracted it's easy to veer off. I guess the moral is to keep looking ahead. lol
It seems bizarre that they buried so many controls inside a touch screen menu, including the X-Mode which I've only used in situations where I needed to quickly hit the button and continue up a hill. I had a 2021 Crosstrek and would prefer the old controls...
Oh Thank You Thank You God the Father; the 11 manuals, 1000-page instructions on "how to operate your 2024 Subaru Crosstrek" HAD to have been written by the Moonwalkers who BUILT it !!" I PRAY I can learn HOW to find BASIC instruction on HOW to HEAT my car, learn if the front seats, several inches too low to even SEE the road can be RAISED, HOW to regulate your headlights, WHAT the HECK is the "MOON ROOF, WHERE IS IT and HOW do you discover its options?; WHERE is the BASIC HEADLIGHT options etc etc etc etc? God help us; we're in hell.
@@Scroll_Lock hmm, let’s think about this. A car brand that has a well known reputation all over the world for its longevity and exceptional handling off-road and in winter time. Or the obviously willfully ignorant opinion of a stranger on UA-cam. This is pretty tough… I’ll have to get back to you.

Synthetic leather on the steering wheel? Really? Are you sure it's not real leather?
Yes, you are right. It is real leather. Thanks for the correction. It feels and looks synthetic to me, but Subaru says its real.
Thank you. Had mine for just few days. You helped me discovers some knobs.
totally!
Thanks!
Thank you Brenda :)

If you’re reviewing the interior it would be great to get your perspective on the audio system/sound.
Great video. I wish they would do someone different with the dash. I'm not a fan of the big screen. Why have temp buttons instead of touch??? Sigh.

The blank button next to the parking brake is making me nuts..... It doesn't do anything?
In Japananese market vehicles there's a button for the front camera in that spot.
Bro can you disable digital mph why do I nedd to speedo 🤔 🙄 👀 💭 ❓
Thanks
I cant figure out how to turn my radio off. I can mute but cant turn it off! 😨
How do I raise height of driver’s seat on 2024 CrossTrek? I’m short (5ft 1 inch). Have already moved seat forward 90%
Raise the horizontal bar up. ua-cam.com/video/7SyU1mtcivQ/v-deo.htmlsi=xE7d2-ohkHLfQyXK&t=763
The shitty rear camera video sure looks to me like the clear protective film on the camera wasn’t completely removed.

You can replace the backup lights with LEDs. I've seen others do it and it greatly helps. I'm going to get the LEDs in the coming weeks.

Agree!
Subaru. When you absolutely, positively want to buy your mechanic a car too.
Never owned one, eh?
