I see some people on here spreading misinformation. The medicine Joe took was for humans. However, after hearing about it on Joe's podcast, there was an influx of people who started to take the horse version of the drug.
Umm the medicine he took has been taken by billions of people around the world for years. Most of congress even those that attacked Rogan, have taken it lol... don't be a mere ventriloquist dummy
I mean, he makes a good point, they have to understand bodies that are similar to our own (dogs and cats) along with bodies that are way different, such as Lizards and Birds. Plus there was that vet on the walking dead who cured a bunch of people. I'd definitely trust a vet to treat me if I didn't have any other choice.

As opposed to the episode where George is asked to watch over someone's luggage. Then George tries to ask a stranger to do the same, and gets shot down.
