Lake George, NY - C-130 Flight

The Department of Defense Boss Lift flight, August 20, 2018 hosted from the 109th Airlift Wing at the Stratton Air National Guard Base located in Schenectady, NY. Flew from there north up to Lake Placid, east to Lake Champlain, south over Lake George, down I-87 along Saratoga Lake and back to base. Awesome experience that helps promote the value of working with our active military guard men and women while they serve our country and hiring them after their service. Our Flight Commander treated us to a 500' flyover Lake George too. I just noticed too you can spot Fort Ticonderoga in the first few seconds of the video. I didn't notice and missed labeling it.

I grew up on the lake and in the fall the jets used to cruise the lack out of Plattsburgh. it was awesome!

Always loved to have a fly overs.One time a c130 came in over the east shore mountains and flew low over the the lake. That was pretty nice. But the best was when two fighters came down the lake and pretty close to our island. So close that they scared the sh#$ out of the guy in the outhouse.He came out ,pants around his ankles saying WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT. Then the other one flew over .They tipped their wings split off and flew away.My son was there and he gets goosebumps when he tells the story.(he’s a jarhead)Told a family member who flys out of Newburgh smiled and said that’s great.So from the bottom of the hearts of five guys thanks so very much.
