That first set looked really good for 4 US dollars but 28 US dollars for that second set? That's impressive! But I'd just be happy with that first set.
Even 28 US isnt that bad specially when you know just how expensive thoose top 3 beef can be...Its simply smth you would get to spoil yourself abit every once in a while^^
the addition of the in store music playing "Highway to the Danger Zone" while reviewing the absolutely enormous spread you got was a nice unintentional touch.
I'm so happy whenever I see another one of your videos has come out. They are so informative, relaxing, and detailed. Plus you and your friend are so charming and pleasant. Thank you for such wonderful content.
There's a wave of Back to the Future stuff happening in Japan right now because of the musical that's happening in Tokyo at the Shiki Theatre from 6 April 2025. So much merch available!
The $4 set seems great for a cheap and quick lunch, especially with the free rice refill. Yakiniku Like also did a good job of making the $28 set feel genuinely worth it whenever you feel like splurging which I'll admit I didn't expect from a chain.
You guys go to the coolest food places. That food looked really good. Thanks for sharing with us. Cant wait to see the next food adventure. Keep it up Bacons.
Earlier this year, I went to a Korean BBQ restaurant in my area with my family and I think you inspired my interest in those kinds of restaurants. Thank you.
That place was playing the awesome 80's set list of awesome! I'd pay $28 for a Kobe beef set like that because 1.) Here in the US, it'd be at least $50 or more for that amount of beef and 2.) At that level of quality that's a steal.
Whoa, even palates well explored this episode! My beer exploded, in my mouth! So excited! Good veg shots! Go a little unhealthier! We're all feelin' ya' Great Ratio!
Some of the songs (in no particular order): Danger Zone - Kenny Loggins The Power of Love - Huey Lewis & The News I’m Not Okay - My Chemical Romance Around the World - Red Hot Chili Peppers Nightrain - Guns & Roses Livin’ On A Prayer - Bon Jovi Jump - Van Halen Panama - Van Halen Call Me - Blondie 99 Luftballons - Nena
considering that for a not so good thai food from a fast food place it can be over 20$ depending on the toppings and the taxes in Canada and that is for one...28 $ for a premium meat set is not so much....Lets see in Canada this Salad Only can cost between 10-15 $, The white rice around 5, soup another 5, the quantity of sauce received around 5 $, Kimchi also 5, and the meat around 40 or maybe more as it Kobe beef which is an import and rare here in Canada so that whole meal if the prices are put together( as me personally haven't seen such large set or combo meals as we call them in Canada) will be 70 Canadian before government taxes( as unfortunately the price that you see announced here in Canada is not the real final price as we add at least 15% more for the government taxes but it could be a little bit more) So final price could be around 85$ as I forgot the drink which lets say this size in a restaurant can be between 5-7 $. So 28$ combo meal for Japan may be considered expensive but here in Canada is not considering all that you get in the set and with premium meat. Also nowhere here in Canada( that I know) you can get a full meal for less than 6 $. Hey instant noodles around where I live can be between 3-5$ for one serving and a bubble tea ( I love this stuff) final price with the taxes for a big size( a Normal Venti Starbucks cup for reference) can be around 8$ and that is just for the basic bubble tea( black tea, milk and tapioca pearls)
Wow great deals 😊❤ id go once a week! I was always curious about beef tongue, Im not afraid anymore; it looks delicious like a thinly shaved steak. I'll definitely give it try one day.
It makes sense the more expensive one has more meats considering the price difference. Just paying for more variety and quantity as well. Seems more they charge extra just for the sides they give as well.
@@_colorbars_ I go to Japan every couple of years, I have family there. There was a festival one time that had lots of food to taste, she could make a video just at that festival. I had horse meat, whale meat and even Mexican tacos (not octopus) All was very tasty. The whale tasted like fishy beef. At that booth I even had a conversation with the owners in Spanish.
I did't expect to hear Bon Jovi playing in the background ehehe, OMFG and High way to the Danger zone Ahhhhhh I now wanna watch Top Gun all over again, I don;t knwo why my ears are listening to the music but the power of love just the way it comes on as he saying the food is heaven ehehe Was the 2nd please haveing an 80s music day ehehe,
6:35 Hearing My Chemical Romance out of nowhere took me OUT
I was just about to say that!!! I'm like ""I'm not okay" is the last thing I'd expect to hear in japan"
i legit had to go and listen to the song because I forgot how much I loved it
Me too lol
What took me out was Bon Jovi near the end with Living in a prayer
What about Highway to the Danger Zone right before that LMAO
That first set looked really good for 4 US dollars but 28 US dollars for that second set? That's impressive! But I'd just be happy with that first set.
Same
in amurica that would be 49.99 for the first one plus tax
Even 28 US isnt that bad specially when you know just how expensive thoose top 3 beef can be...Its simply smth you would get to spoil yourself abit every once in a while^^
I was impressed at how cheap that expensive meats set was, here in Europe they'd make you pay WAY more for that set
I'd probably order 5 of the cheap set tbh
the addition of the in store music playing "Highway to the Danger Zone" while reviewing the absolutely enormous spread you got was a nice unintentional touch.
I love all these spots that are perfect for eating on your own. I wish we had more like this in the US!
Go to McDonald's and eat in your car.
@@hxhdfjifzirstc894LOL
Same..i would love to go and cook quietly grilled meat.
@@hxhdfjifzirstc894 McDonald's is not delicious like freshly grilled meat and onions and a rice bowl. McDonald's is horrible food.
@@hxhdfjifzirstc894 middonalds
The music choice at these 2 places are spot on LOVE IT ❤
Agreed, though these meals were both eaten at the same location!
@@Sarikittification bro was not paying attention

That would annoy me if I was trying to eat.
12:14 Good and delicious Mail with the perfect Backgroundmusic "Bon Jovi" Living in a prayer 😂
I'm vibing with the background music 🎶
Nothing better than eating good food and hearing Van Halen in the background. Great video as always thank you for sharing.
13:59 - Wow! Watching this, listening to the music ... and then a hearing the german song "99 Luftballons" by Nena. :D That was a surprise! :D
I loved That Part as an german
Who's playing My Chemical Romance at the yakiniku restaurant? lol
Nirvana too lmao
Kenny Loggins too. Very....eclectic music taste
@@insertopinion5967 Also Jon Bon Jovi, I recognise the chorus to 'It's my life' anywhere.
@@Altoryu living on a prayer
Or Nena at the end of the video. XD
strange hearing american rock music in the background
I was thinking the same. I aint complaining, tho. If I visited, I'd feel like I'm home 😊
I was thinking the same thing. Seems like 80s and 90s rock and roll.
@@Saturnthroughstarsagreed
@@ziggygazzoit’s from the movie Top Gun. Jenny Loggins’ Danger zone. I believe I heard some Huey Lewis too. The Power of Love lol. Going way way back
And not to mention 1980s rock music lol.
As the song "Power of Love" plays in the background while you eat the Kobe Beef. That's so good!
Loving all the 1980’s rock music! Unexpected!
The MCR in the background is impeccable 😌
This video brought me back to my teen years with the 80’s music ❤️
Hearing music from 'Back to the Future' as you grilled Kobe beef made me chuckle :) ... ALL of the music, honestly!
ill rearrange those when im not lazy
but i wont do food reviews like lul there are dancing bacons for that

2:40 Did not expect to hear "Born in the USA" haha
The Power of Love playing when he’s eating the prime Kobe beef…that was cracking me up!!!

Thank you for sharing. 🙏
I miss Shander's smiles and gestures of approval. It gives a great vibe of enjoyment. 🤪
Until our next video 🍀
I enjoyed all the American Classic Rock in the background. Was fun trying to guess the groups and the songs
All that meat and Top Gun Danger Zone playing by Kenny Loggins. Can’t beat that! 😂😂😂
danger zooooone
Also the German version of 99 red balloons (99 Luftballons) at the end!
I imagine they charge extra for the 80's soundtrack. Heard Huey Lewis & The Power of Love in there as well.
Kenny Loggins might be retired, but his music still lives on. Somehow.
@hlcdriver Huey Lewis and the News reminds me so much of getting dental work in the early 90s. Take from that what you will.
Loving the background music!
Yummy food and good music! Looks like a delicious and fun experience!
Nice 80's rock music offered over the speaker, David Lee Roth, BonJovi, Hewey Lewis, Pat Benatar and much more! ❤
It's Huey Lewis 😉

Okay, the music at 6:15 stop, that's amazing! such a great song
I am amazed as to how much American classic rock was playing in the background! Pretty cool!
Earlier this year, I went to a Korean BBQ restaurant in my area with my family and I think you inspired my interest in those kinds of restaurants. Thank you.
The music selection in the background is top notch. Would not expect to hear 80's rock at a place like this.
i really wanted something i could watch and listen to music to after a hard day! i really enjoy your channel and have for a few years 👍
Add Red Hot Chilli Peppers to Salad 😂 lol 9:25
love how there was a recess in the table that fitted the tray perfectly
0:37 How many have burn their faces before putting up a warning?
Motley crue…Bon Jovi…Huey Luwis…my chemical romance…best ambient music ever!!!
Wow for $4 the cheapest option is honestly a steal!
plus the special of getting free rice refills, almost like a rice happy hour. dang good deal
It's a good price, in Japan meat is too expensive
The background music is awesome. Reminds me of my youth. ❤
Wow! Those prices are amazing and very reasonable for the food received. Plus, their music selection makes me want to go there even more.
love all ur videos ! Keep it up
Everytime I see a Yakiniku restaurant video I always want something like it over here!
MCR in the background is just chef's kiss 💋
Awesome video with great food (cheap and expensive) plus awesome music from the background. 😊
your English is great and the black background under the subtitles is really helpful. Other videos with only white letters makes it very hard to read.
Thanks for the tip! Went there today, and loved the food!
