    Acceleration - 1600 rpm, foot of the gas - 1000 rpm... That make me crazy in my 2.0 tdi so i buy 3.0 tdi with multitronic. Much better working and coop with engine. I also have old 2.7 tdi in a6 4f and still work fine.

    i got 2009 a4 b8 2.7 tdi multitronic car has adaptive suspension steering gearbox/engine b&o effortles to drive in comparison to my 2008 a4 b8 2.0 tdi manual

    I also have an A4 B8 (but pre-facelift) and i found that these cars have a really poor light from xenon...do you think so?

    Hi. Is the Transmission a S-tronic ?

      This is a multitronic - you can tell by the fact that it appears not to shift when you have it in "D" - it just accelerates while the engine runs between 1500 - 3000 rpm (depending on how far you press the accelerator).
      When you put a multitronic in "S" mode, it simulates gear shifts only - it's not actually shifting gears like an S-tronic would. In reality it just pushes the drive belt to preprogrammed positions on the cones.
      Multitronic is a smoother ride in my opinion - that's why I drive a B8 Avant with one - but not as "sporty" as an S-tronic.

      @@JeZZGro Audi stopped sticking a ' "Multitronic" badge on the outside, so yes - you'll need to ask the owner.
      The B8 was the last A4 that had Multitronic as an option - from the B9 onwards, only S-Tronic (DSG) was offered if you opted for an automatic transmission.

      I did research, only quattro models have DSG, all front wheel based models are multitronic.
      So I guess I will only watch for quattro models.
