Yeah I tried it got to lvl 48 but it's so ridiculously boring I couldn't even play it anymore. Plus it's so unoptimized when you look around everything is fluttery and gittery it's sad. And I have 3070 founders and I9 9900k. Definitely love Mr. Peon though no matter what he plays lol even when he plays games like blessed

I really love New World, but this quest is so fucked it's not even funny. One thing that is worth noting is that it's not like a regular instance/expedition and you can actually take multiple groups, so the best chance current players have is to wait until you have like 10 of you. The logical conclusion on this problem is that eventually the quest will simply becoming unable to complete which blocks of the final MSQ for the unlucky people who got there late.

@@dannyVulture I think so yes, the devs have been very responsive to the community, they're fixing problems with weekly patches so I'm sure it will be address. But it might be a while as they have a lot to fix right now.

Honestly, when I watched the very fist video with your editor (not sure if it was the same editor at that point, the league of legends/DOTA one?), I was worried the channel would just become a meme fest. Really happy that hasn't been the case. The videos have just settled into a really nice blend of styles, and adds that extra bit of flare to elevate the already great Peon content. Much respect to you and your editor.

Your character at the beginning of the video looks like a peasant compared to the end of the video. That voidbent armor is gorgeous. In one of the previous videos, you said you didn't understand why people just cash-shopped their armor at low levels because it ruins the visual progression. I concur. Seeing your visual progression was super satisfying. I'm playing very casually (new baby, super high maintenance) and trying to keep my gather/trade skills up before going further. Finding or crafting a new gear upgrade (even at lv26) is really impactful and enjoyable. Progression of almost any kind seems like it makes some kind of impact on play. Considering this game is buy to play, and that's really it, it has definitely provided me with my money's worth. Also, the game actually feels good to out level areas and solo a bunch of side quests. When I decide to do quests, I can out level them by like 5-10 levels and just do a bunch to catch up on XP and probably get upgraded gear by the time the quest difficult in an area meets my level. It just doesn't feel like wasted time. You can do some quests now.. or later. Whatever you want. It will still feel like you're progressing some how. Whereas in most other games, it's such a waste of time to do any activities you out-level. This game is a refreshing experience for me. Side note: keep on keeping on, man. You seem like you're in a great place these days. I'm happy for you, dude.

I'm certain you have the best amount of experience to really give this game a solid review. This series was awesome. I stopped playing the game around level 34 because honestly it took too long to level up and my gaming hours are short these days.
Alot of work went into editing and shooting these video's you can tell. I really REALLY love this format but honestly only do it if you yourself and your editor can handle it. Props to you, your editor, your guild for painting this game's highs and lows in an honest format.

Honestly I’d love to see more NW content here and there. The last episode seems a bit rushed to me after hitting lvl 60, I would loved to see more of the grind towards you hitting full Voidbent or more extensive coverage of the last 2 expeditions which in my opinion are the best

If you knew how gathering and crafting is the same process 100x , or even 500x the amount of standard to mix the main component you'd understand why there's literally no purpose to show him using footage of the same activity over and over again. The expeditions and everything else end game is literally the same content as everything else. If you wanna find out for yourself, try the game out.

I did really enjoy these videos and in a community that is often played with a ton of (usually justifiable) negativity I would like to say that I am enjoying New World. I haven't put nearly as much time into yet, I'm only level 22, but it's the first MMO in a while where i don't feel the instant boredom brought on by it being the same WoW Clone or hollow Korean action mmo that I've seen time and time again. I hope it has a decent future ahead of it.
as long as you take your time and vary what you do in the game you won’t get bored at level 30 (work on crafting/gathering , do corruption breaches, do pvp with a company, do dungeons, have fun, etc)

Bdo was awesome back when I played it but every class I played felt no different from anyone else who was playing the same class. @cmdrnGrief yeah but like in most of them your essentially class locked in what your role is where as you have a bit more freedom here it seems when it comes to stats and whatnot. Like for example again in bdo if your a mage you can't wear certain armor but in an earlier episode before he went to light armor he was a mage wearing heavy. Which opens the maybe possibility of being a tank healer for example. Idk I know MMOs will always have there min/max when it comes to classes and how to best utilize them but I like the open interpretation of choice when it comes to how you want your character to be. Most MMOs follow the wow path where the classes can only wear certain armor and have no control over their characters base stats. Thankfully a few of the new MMOs are pulling away from that style for more player freedoms. Lol I overall just enjoy being able to play my way and not be forced into a role, granted I've never done big war like events and haven't really done PvP since SWG. I tried PvP in bdo but 😅 never got the hang of it so I turned into being a pve trader/crafter lol!

Do you know how hard it is to consistently work with a new game, with a new audience, when amazon itself has no backlog of real games that didnt fail?It's hard as hell. If you actually cared about the questing you would see it's different in each town with different levels of corruption. You start at windward and might kill someone who got turned while using the bathroom in the forest. You go to weaver's fen and have to killa prietst who got turned inside his own church. The medium tier quests are for understanding amrine, stars, and getting your feet wet with depths before the actual mechanics are tested. If you think anything lowtier, and mid tier is the same you not paying attention or somehow is comparing each dungeon to eachother when the mechanics are vastly different. For each dungeon. And the pre-requisite to get the free orb for your expeditions are always about opening the lore alittle more. You have to find someone glasses in one dungeon, maybe an old hair tie in another, bones for your dog as well, etc. It's supposed to be fantasy, and if you aren't READING the details or studying the actual infromation to grasp the world you're in, you're literally doing nothing but bashing your head on the keyboard (aka skipping cutscenes) to be part of the cool kids. First off, mmos aren't rushed. Second, there's content barely no one talks about cause streamers popularized glazing through lore, and asmongold did that exact same stupid shit that ended up with over 2million people shitting on content they fundamentally will NEVER understand cause they have the attention span of a goldfish.

This series pretty much encapsulates my entire experience with New World. In almost every way. I hope the Lagado server treats you well, because from my experience it was too heavily populated.

I never enjoyed an mmo until new world, not sure if it's just me being older or it's the game. Either way your missing out. It's only 40$ super cheap, and considering this is Amazons first successful game, we will likely see it grow substantially over the coming months/ years.
@@lambree4947 Combat is awful, questing is tedious and horridly repetitive, MOB shit spam every zone with 0 variation in between. Gear progression is entirely in the faction store, 4 Dungeons of note and they are all underwhelming and bad. Game was made with PvP in mind and the PvP is awful too

I'm pretty sure just 1 of those bombers explosions would be enough to kill a full int light armor. Second one was overkill haha

I haven't put nearly as much time into yet, I'm only level 22, but it's the first MMO in a while where i don't feel the instant boredom brought on by it being the same WoW Clone or hollow Korean action mmo that I've seen time and time again. I hope it has a decent future ahead of it.
Just wait until you get past level 30, then you'll understand where the boredom sets in
I stopped playing at level 30
as long as you take your time and vary what you do in the game you won’t get bored at level 30 (work on crafting/gathering , do corruption breaches, do pvp with a company, do dungeons, have fun, etc)
@@luccienv And each of those is riddled with bugs and poor design choices, mixed with copy and paste assets and activities, with no variation, and have terrible rewards.
@@misterawesomeman1 I’ve only ran into one bug which was when the lvl 55 breaches were bugged but it was fixed 2 days later

Lol honestly though I loved the whole series and even though I can't afford a gaming PC I think that this game is awesome. I'm so tired of MMOs that force your stats to fit a certain style. I love that you can pick and choose for the most part and become whatever you want from being a pure cannon to a hybrid of any style. That sort of character freedom is what I love to see in a game. Bdo was awesome back when I played it but every class I played felt no different from anyone else who was playing the same class. Either way big thank you to you and your editor for taking the time to make the series!
@cmdrnGrief yeah but like in most of them your essentially class locked in what your role is where as you have a bit more freedom here it seems when it comes to stats and whatnot. Like for example again in bdo if your a mage you can't wear certain armor but in an earlier episode before he went to light armor he was a mage wearing heavy. Which opens the maybe possibility of being a tank healer for example. Idk I know MMOs will always have there min/max when it comes to classes and how to best utilize them but I like the open interpretation of choice when it comes to how you want your character to be. Most MMOs follow the wow path where the classes can only wear certain armor and have no control over their characters base stats. Thankfully a few of the new MMOs are pulling away from that style for more player freedoms. Lol I overall just enjoy being able to play my way and not be forced into a role, granted I've never done big war like events and haven't really done PvP since SWG. I tried PvP in bdo but 😅 never got the hang of it so I turned into being a pve trader/crafter lol!

all the game has to offer is pretty much the same from 1-60.... i'm baffled people keep going for soemthing that doesn't really change other than having a different expedition for your lvl.

He's not completely informed. His server died. He hopped , had his girlfriend help him farm resources, got CARRIED ALOT, and didn't bat an eye at completing most if not all the content at the end game.

Content wise there is no future released whatsoever... Side quests are pretty much the same as the MSQ, the only difference in quests is town/faction quests... There is NO difference in quests other than go kill x of that, open x chests in that area and run back... End game doesn't change from 10-60, PvE and PVP wise.... Thats my experience and i'm not shitting om LazyPeon, I'm just amazed this game is still being played with all the flaws it has...

First off, your comment is flawed and they have mentioned and implemented updates and contents after depths was released. They even CLEAN an assload of the bugs stopping people from playing or running the game even if the GAME DEVELOPERS had no call on the matter whatsoever they still are working behind the screen that apparently no one appreciates.
Do you know how hard it is to consistently work with a new game, with a new audience, when amazon itself has no backlog of real games that didnt fail?It's hard as hell.
If you actually cared about the questing you would see it's different in each town with different levels of corruption.
You start at windward and might kill someone who got turned while using the bathroom in the forest.
You go to weaver's fen and have to killa prietst who got turned inside his own church.
The medium tier quests are for understanding amrine, stars, and getting your feet wet with depths before the actual mechanics are tested.
If you think anything lowtier, and mid tier is the same you not paying attention or somehow is comparing each dungeon to eachother when the mechanics are vastly different. For each dungeon. And the pre-requisite to get the free orb for your expeditions are always about opening the lore alittle more.
You have to find someone glasses in one dungeon,
maybe an old hair tie in another,
bones for your dog as well, etc.
It's supposed to be fantasy, and if you aren't READING the details or studying the actual infromation to grasp the world you're in, you're literally doing nothing but bashing your head on the keyboard (aka skipping cutscenes) to be part of the cool kids.
First off, mmos aren't rushed. Second, there's content barely no one talks about cause streamers popularized glazing through lore, and asmongold did that exact same stupid shit that ended up with over 2million people shitting on content they fundamentally will NEVER understand cause they have the attention span of a goldfish.

I watched it to end today and i really really love those lets plays, as well as the wow hardcore series, its really relaxing especially when you mention how beautiful everything is, I like when people dont just say its terrible because of bugs and shit but looking at the world instead, I hope you will make another level and endegame series of some games, ascension wow probably or ESO woulb be awesome, bu that belongs to you, at this part i just say thank you for the hours i had listening to you ^^

I never enjoyed an mmo until new world, not sure if it's just me being older or it's the game. Either way your missing out. It's only 40$ super cheap, and considering this is Amazons first successful game, we will likely see it grow substantially over the coming months/ years.

@@lambree4947 Combat is awful, questing is tedious and horridly repetitive, MOB shit spam every zone with 0 variation in between. Gear progression is entirely in the faction store, 4 Dungeons of note and they are all underwhelming and bad. Game was made with PvP in mind and the PvP is awful too
