Aaron Gwin won the UCI MTB World Cup stop in Leogang in 2015 even after his chain broke off his bike at the very start of his run. In honor of the win, Claudio Caluori is joined by Gwin in this rainy preview of the brand new Leogang course, and they both run it chainless in some very muddy conditions.

Sounds like the voiceover was recorded AFTER the video was made. It sounds like Claudio is in an empty room just yelling.

+FlanelWagon nope, its cause he was using a waterproof case, he usually doesnt use them, since it was raining you need a case lol
You can clearly hear the change in voice over at 1:04
Since he uses external mics that does't make sense
One of the Gopro's & the mic came off during the run so they had to use the sound recording from a Gopro in waterproof housing

Sounds like the narration was recorded in a studio/room and added over....so all the ooh's and Ahh's are just added in.... Awesome run though claudio!

It still sounds different bro, a waterproof case would just make it sound more muffled with squeaks/rattles
from the case itself. His voice doesn't always match the terrain he is going over. A great run regardless - no chain!
Also could have been an external mic inside his helmet.
Yes you can easily tell it's a voice over... Listen to when he's at the start when he's about to go. He has the helmet on and nothing changed until he started then the audio changed. The audio was re recorded.

I'm pretty sure there was a problem with the voice recording and he had to lay over his voice afterwards. You also hear that he's obviously not riding while talking.

Claudio what happened to the audio. Common I can tell you did a voice over.
well you are wrong, it wasnt a voice over, its a different container to hold his go pro, hence why it sounds different
the whole ride was a voice over... even at the end you can hear the REAL goPro in a case sound. Its completely different. It kind of kills it for me....ugh
Im pretty sure they just used an EQ to filter out the sounds of the wind to make his voice clearer. That's why the voice is only weird while he's riding.
You could still hear the rattling and the wind noise, though. Can't you hear Aaron's laugh when they both fell? So Aaron was in it, too? Funny for you to think that Claudio would do a voice over with Aaron. Hahaha!

aaron gwin and claudio, inspired me even more a few years ago to ride downhill, (not professionally but for fun), i did a redbull race in 2009 i think, it was redbull dusk till dawn downhill race in calgary alberta canada, where the winner was chosen by how many times you made it down the course in an 8 hour period or something, from 10pm till 6 am if i remember correct

If you think that it was recorded in a room, why is there sound of his bike on the track? is a go pro able to record two different sound strings? no, it is not.

I've been a huge fan of Claudio's live commentary every since I found his videos a few months ago but for whatever reason (maybe dissatisfied with his live commentary during the actual ride due to concentration or cursing) this audio is recorded after the fact. The transition between the live audio and recorded audio is clear at 1:05 and back to live at 6:09. The lack of authenticity is obvious when considering the unrealistic timing of his commentary on trail features, lack of panting compared to the live audio at 6:09 and to the panting in his previous videos, and lastly, the undeniable element of "acting" that everyone in the comment section has aptly noticed. Next time just use the real audio and don't try to fake yourself Claudio.

Should really invest in some sound proofing or a proper mic to record when in a room. You've clearly recorded over the footage as the echo and sound are clearly from a small room with no sound proofing
