Thank you for posting the video. I know its several years old, but it is still relevant. With that said, I just purchased a Lenovo Flex 5 that came without the pen. It is identical to the layout of your laptop. I was considering purchasing the pen directly through Lenovo, but wanted to check out some videos of how it works, stores, etc before buying. I know they are trying to keep these laptops slim, but there has to be a better way to store the pen when not in use. Having the pen clip use one of the USB ports defeats the purpose of having the ports for things I need. I use one of the USB ports for a Logitech receiver (wireless mouse) as I typically prefer the mouse over the touchpad. I use the other port for either an external HDD or thumb drive. With this set-up, not only do I lose my other available USB ports, but the pen clip gets in the way of my Logitech receiver when the pen is stored. I would have to disconnect the receiver each time I am storing my laptop. It doesn't seem worth the risk of losing the receiver. I suppose I could just store the pen somewhere without the clip, but seems counter-intuitive. Nonetheless, your video was very helpful. Thanks!

I personally like it. The only thing that I didn't like was that the stylist had batteries and for what I was using it for the battery gave me only about 5 hour until I had to put in the charger

You say "once you start setting it up," but you don't show us how you got to the set up window. My stylus does basic stylus function on my Flex 3, but I can't figure out how to adjust the settings for the buttons. When I try to us the stylus in Photoshop it scrolls instead of draws.
@@TheReviewer85 Photoshop itself works on the laptop. Just the stylus issues. I'm finding mentions of a need for a Wacom driver. But I don't know enough about that, or if there's alternative options.

Hey I'm running into a issue, I've been trying to set up this pen for hours and have made little progress. after spending hours trying to install the Lenovo pen settings I finally got it installed. but now it says I need the Wacom Pen driver and whenever I try to install the driver, it tells me "A supported tablet was not found on the system."
How do you connect it tho? I've tried through bluetooth but it isn't able to locate my pen, I also changed the batteries to an Enrgizer E96 AAAA battery but nothings budging

@@ahagupta8194 Yeah. It's cause (basic) Lenovo Digital Pen doesn't have bluetooth. When it's tapped/hovered on glass it'll report the battery charge- you can see on Lenovo Pen app- top right corner. Some more expensive lenovo pens have cylindrical battery + button batteries both for Stylus & bluetooth functions. I would say the basic ones are more efficient & expensive ones don't have justifiably more features. I guess Wacom Pens would work too, if one can get it for cheaper. Many niche IT stuff cost a kidney in India, especially if you take from pc manufacturer.
Hello. I just bought a levono laptop and they gave me this pen but it doesnt work like your. When i use the pen there is pen icon showup in taskbar but then nothing happen. For me, it just did it on its own, but I'd assume you'd have to connect it via Bluetooth or the pen driver settings.
