@@eriaz5563 Lunar new year is celebrated by everyone in Asia, while chinese new year is celebrated by only chinese people. i hope this helps, it is also acceptable to wish people in asia or china either one, since most don't celebrate both anyway so regardless of how you greet someone it won't matter much as long as the person you greet is chinese, if they are japanese or korean then lunar new year would be the correct way :)

I noticed to that when you bring a gift of the rice cakes to your neighbors, they always invite you to come and sit and have a cup of tea. 真的很敦親睦鄰、好像我小時候在台灣的原住民部落一樣，媽媽用柴火蒸完了年糕、或廣東籍的爸爸做了臘肉曬了幾天的太陽後，總是送給阿姨或周邊要好的親朋好友分享。爸爸好客、朋友五湖四海、各階層都有，有時想安靜一點的過年都很難、他今年若還健在、應該是92歲了，好想念他做的飯菜～～謝謝滇西小哥的視頻、安慰自己想念親人的時光⋯⋯
