I never get tired of seeing Timbers, they are truly beautiful animals. It was awesome to see one in hunting position, and I learned a lot as always. Great discussion at the end about the importance of rattlesnakes, it is so important that people understand what a vital role rattlesnakes have in the ecosystem. Fantastic video as always, I’m looking forward to more!

Their scales are so beautiful. I haven't had an illustration project focused primarily on snakes, I hope I will get one soon! They are so gorgeous.

I never thought of that, snakes eating ticks on prey items.
We in the northeast really have epidemic with ticks.
I can collect 100 a week in my yard. Same stuff people spray yard wth kills our honey and wild bees..
Do you're Timbers have the white fungus bats had that awoke them early from hibernation early?
I pictured them eating bats stopping off in crevasses to get subjected..
    You're channel deserves..

Could you do a video on brumation? Weirdly enough there seems to be little info online on the process of brumation, how the animals prepare, etc.

Ugh, you held a tick!!! I'd never. Be smashing it instantly, and not on my skin.

Domo I hold ALOT of ticks haha. Some summers we get 50-100 on us a day and you just get used to picking them off.

@@lifeunderfoot4805 That would be a really good one. Maybe you can confirm or deny myths about them jumping onto people from overhead branches.
