Born and raised in Owensboro. A lot of great memories and people there. Unfortunately it's a town ran by old money. Very few opportunities for younger people and a terrible dating scene.
You got that right. I moved from there, I miss it but I did the right thing, went to Florida where the girls and people are friendly and everyone notices me here, Southern charm in Fl. Clickish in Owensboro, Ky. I lived in Owensboro for many years.
@michael-dy8tz good for you! A year ago this fall I moved up to Cincinnati ohio. I've since met an incredible girl and I've made some new friends. Plus the endless entertainment and opportunity are two things I'm still getting used to.
I'm so glad for you, I know what you mean also about entertainment, there wasn't much in Owensboro, lots of things to do here too I wish you and your girl the best.@@jessesosh7052
it’s a socially backwards town. clique-ish best describes Owensboro. I moved away several years ago. much better places to live. blacks cause the major crimes there. many of them don’t like the whites, unless you’re an overweight white woman. meth and alcohol is biggest problem. there’s no longer old money, that’s a myth. most people who move away don’t come back.
Nice! Missed about 85% of the town, I feel enlightened… can’t wait to laugh and drink coffee with my mom n sister watching this semi complete travelogue
Real time watching this, how many more loops thru the projects and Chautauqua park are you gonna make there? Go check out modern welding or the freaking Estes school humpster!
you kept circling the same spots of town..you didn't even go out 54? That is where most the businesses are or on down on fredica.. You spent the first almost 30 mins circling the same 3 mile loop on east end blocks lol..

I drove almost 2 hours last Friday to Owensboro to get an MRI. I wish I had time to explore the city but had to get back home.
Stats have always been good. Low Crime. Low Unemployment. Good place to live. (#Owensboro)
Nice! Drive around the projects and talk out your neck

kinda miss it. moved out after the rents went up not really a town for single guys
Thanks for the information
Yeah, the girls and ladies won't give you a chance unless you graduated there, even if your a good looking guy you will be invisible to the girls.
1 hour and 45 minutes to Louisville
nobody was hurt but some people never rebuilt
It's NORTH of Bowling Green.
My bad didn't realize I said South rather than North
the reason why we lost population was because of the 2000 tornado
Wtf 6000 sqft is huge lol tf

Our city is Owensboro not owensville, you could at least learn the name since you're supposed to be from here, 😮js
He never said he was from Owensboro. And he was saying Owensboro that was just his accent.
