I'm so glad that this video popped up on my UA-cam feed! I too had a successful career as a Make-Up Artist working in the entertainment industry. However, after having children I developed a complex and quite debilitating set neurological and autonomics conditions. I now live most of my life in bed and a few years ago I taught myself to paint portraits to help me cope with the fact that I will never live a "normal" life again. I am now "reasonably" successful with my first solo exhibition at the end of they yer. After such a big and busy career, I always just presumed I would live the rest of my life at that pace. Nobody knows what ups and downs are ahead of them and I agree that art is probably the best way to express yourself and cope with whatever issues come your way. Anyhoo, you have a new subscriber and I look forward to viewing some of your earlier videos and videos in the future. Your style of painting is so energetic, I love them. Also I love the ways you use your Neocolour IIs 😄. Cheers!
